Anna has changed her name and moved across the country to get away from her past. But it all comes back to her when her brother goes missing. Does it have something to do with their past? I couldn't not put this book down. The plot was strong with enough clues to keep us going and confused. The characters were strong as well.

The latest (as of mid-2007) in Margaret Maron's enjoyable Deborah Knotts series.

Now married, Deborah and Dwight face several challenges, including a murder Dwight must investigate in their small North Carolina town. While involved in that investigation, the pair find out that Dwight's ex-wife, Jonna (mother of his young son Cal) has gone missing. Dwight -- and eventually Deborah -- must travel to his ex-wife's hometown to search for Jonna, and soon, Cal as well.

Very enjoyable and suspenseful novel.

In this well remembered picture book from my childhood, detective Donald is hired to help Mickey find out who is stealing the peanuts from the zoo shed every night. He goes through some rather fun tangents on his way to the real culprits. I loved this as a kid, my niece loves it now, and I enjoyed rereading it to her.
