THE LONDON MONSTER is set about one hundred years before Jack the Ripper, and tells the story of a man who attacked women at night. It became known that he would only attack beautiful women, so it was almost a 'badge of honour' to have been chosen.

I have to say, I had no idea who it was, right up until The Final Note. The characters all intermingle, and you have no idea how much until it is revealed by the author. Simply wonderful!

This book reads as a standalone and I have no idea if the real London Monster was ever truly identified. I would love to know more about Tom, Sophie, and in particular, Dalton and Cuthbert. Those two got off very lightly in my opinion.

A long book that you can fully immerse yourself in, I found this to be one of the best mysteries I have read in a long time. Absolutely recommended by me.

* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book; the comments here are my honest opinion. *

The new open-world platform really worked for the Zelda series. I love how there is always something more to do (beat all of the shrines, find all of the Korok seeds, beat every monster...). They are also constantly updating the game and adding DLC. (0 more)
The game is very repetitive - same 5 or so types of monsters, the shrines start to feel the same. In sure this is way easier for Nintendo to produce in a shorter time, and it's their first Zelda game like this, so I totally get it. (0 more)

Monster Hunter: World
Gave this game a try after watching my boyfriend play it for extended periods. He seems to really enjoy it, so I gave it a whirl. I do enjoy playing it, however, I am a huge newbie when it comes to video games, and for someone like me, it is a little too much for me to pick up. I'm sure that I'll get there, but some of those monsters are pretty tough to beat. Great if you enjoy a good challenge!

Such a beautiful rounding of the 3 seasons of Penny Dreadful. To finish with Vanessa and Ethan's scene may have made my eyes leak! And to see that the past of the Monster entwined so deeply with Vanessa was a great added depth and completely unexpected. I adored this season and am currently rewatching for my 5th time. For any lover of classic horror literature, or doomed romance, or the thrill of supernatural I would recommend in a heart beat!
