Jack Riley comes into Isabelle’s life and becomes her first love. He makes her feel alive, but she cruelly pushes him away, mistakenly believing that she doesn't deserve to be happy. Can she find the strength to confront her pain and be released from her troublesome past?
Isabelle needs to break the rules that have been imprisoning her. It is the only way for her to move on and piece her heart back together again.
Izzy, as she is known to her friends, is an extremely likeable character and I could really empathise with her. I thought this book was very insightful and thought-provoking. Although I thought that some of the dialogue between Izzy and her new beau, Nick Sterling, was a little repetitive, I found it a very enjoyable read, The author's writing has depth and the ending was very good.

She plays a ballet dancer who is forced t work for the government in trade for state sponsored benefits for her and her mother to continue.
The plot gets a little muddled and confusing as to who is on which side in the middle of the film. People keep switching sides or double crossing each other so it becomes hard to follow at times.
It felt like the film could've lost like 20 minutes and been more coherent and quicker paced. Having not read the book, I cannot compare it (although differing from the book does not make it worse). I'll go to my grave defending that point.
I was never bored while watching and would definitely recommend.

The film focuses on arthur flecks descent into madness as society slowly crumbles around him and he finds out his mother is not what he thought she was.As he begins to become the clown prince of crime be sees that his actions are inspiring the people of gotham to go out dressed as clowns and riot in the city.
A mention must go to robert de niro as well, following on from his immense performance in the Irishman he gives us yet another as talk show host murray franklin. That grisly ending that sees joker shoot and kill franklin live on his talk show has to be seen to be believed.
An incredible piece of film making.

Matthew Krueger (10051 KP) rated The Fox and the Hound (1981) in Movies

The plot: After his mother is killed, Tod the fox (Mickey Rooney) is taken in by the kindly Widow Tweed (Jeanette Nolan). He soon befriends the neighbor's new hound dog, Copper (Kurt Russell). The two are inseparable, but their friendship is hampered by their masters and by the fact that they are, by nature, enemies. They grow apart as they grow older; Copper has become a strong hunting dog and Tod a wild fox. The pair must overcome their inherent differences in order to salvage their friendship.
Its a story about friendship, betrayal, overcoming nature and getting older.
Its a great movie and classic.
