While Percy and Annabeth battle through Tartarus to reach a way to get back to our world, the rest of their friends attempt to reach Greece to help them. But with monsters attacking both groups, will anyone make it?

While I wasn't happy with the last book in the series, this one was much better. The plot kept moving forward quickly and all of the main characters got some great development. Fans should be pleased.

Paige Marshall has taken a job coaching a show choir until her big break singing opera comes through. But when a rival coach is murdered, she starts trying to clear one of her students of the crime. The book is fun with great characters, fast moving plot, and gentle humor woven in. Paige took a couple more risks than I felt like she should have, but I enjoyed it and definitely plan to read the sequel.

When their shepherd is killed, the flock decide to figure out who would kill him. The premise was interesting and different but the first half was very slow as we spent all kinds of time learning about life in the pasture. There were some fun passages as the sheep tried to figure humans out. Eventually, the plot did get moving, although between the 18 sheep plus the humans, I had a hard time keeping everything straight.

Amazing action scenes
Great soundtrack
Slated by critics? However this is a moving film based around the events of Pear Harbour. It may take the story in the direction of two friends who grow up together to become pilots and fall for the same woman, but an underlying love story didn't cause Titanic any problems? The SFX are amazing and the bombing of Pearl Harbour is done on a huge scale and saddening to watch. This is a true epic of a film, artistically shot, well directed and with great lead actors which handle the tragic event so well.

This is an incredibly moving piece of fiction that anyone who loves reading owes it to themselves to check out. Telling the story of a young German boy and a young, blind French girl over the course of World War II; Anthony Doerr weaves together themes of the horrors of war, the love of one's family, and the beauty that exists in the world around us and within ourselves. The story moves forward at a quick pace and all of the characters will remain with you long after the story is over. Simply put: this is a beautiful book.

When a well-to-do client dies mid-facial, Marla Vail decides to track down a killer to save her salon’s reputation. This cozy has a great cast of characters and suspects galore. It’s a fast moving story that will keep you guessing, and rooting for Marla all the way through. While it is the 13th Bad Hair Day Mystery series, you’ll be able to catch on and not feel lost even if you haven’t read the previous 12 books. You will most likely want to go back and read them when you’re done, however!

I didn't know much about this film before I saw it but heard critics and fans a like giving great reviews about it. A father and former part of the military police goes in search of his son who has gone AWOL after returning home from Iraq.
This is a great film, with a very good cast giving great performances especially Tommy Lee Jones and Charlize Theron. It touches on quite a few political views about the army and war in Iraq and the effects it can have. A truly moving film based on true events.

This film was based on the novel of the same name by Dean Koontz. I haven't read the novel, so I can't properly judge it on how good of an adaption it was.
Honestly, the only reason I watched this movie was because I was chilling with a friend a few years ago, and we saw a movie with Anton Yelchin in it on Netflix or something (she'd met him twice, I'm still super jealous). It was definitely an entertaining, quick-moving paranormal flick that I immediately fell in love with and purchased a few days after I saw it.

Some secret won't remain buried....because you need to bury them.
A mother and her four kids emigrate from the United Kingdom to America to escape her evil husband. Sadly the mother dies shortly after moving and the kids fend for themselves, keeping it secret she's gone.

The father finds them, but they fend him off....but a ghost seems to be bothering them.

It was an interesting movie to watch and I have to admit I didn't see the twist coming....I think the tagline was quite misleading though.

For the majority of this book I was clueless as to what had happened and who had done what to who! But that is a good thing! It was only in the last few chapters that everything did finally come together and it was done very well. Loved the back and forth between the 90’s, 2016, 2018, diary entries and emails. Even with all the back and forth, it was easy to follow and did a great job of keeping the story moving while ramping up the tension.
An excellent debut thriller that will have you checking those shadows!
