I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review

This book started off with great promise, but for me went downhill rather quickly. I love the idea of a young girl dealing with the loss of losing her father, and moving to a new place; however, the story began to seem extremely far fetched when the ghost started coming into play. I had trouble understanding how the person murdered now was related to the past, and that never really seemed to be explained at all. I guess you just have to accept that its paranormal and that's all there is to it.

Celia, is a very well written character, and its really easy to like her and root for her. Regardless of the way she acts, she means well, and cares about others. I even cried when she received closure at the end in regards to her father's death. It was very moving. Donovan and Tilly were very one dimensional and I would have loved to learn more information about these characters.

I think the thing that in essence killed this book for me was that it was a choose your own adventure book. I think if the fates of the characters had been decided and the book written as normal it would have been more exciting for me. I do have to admit that this book did remind me of reading the choose your own adventure books I read as a kid.

I might be inclined to read more books in this series to see how the characters develop. I gave it 3 stars out of 5.

I first want to thank my partner in crime, Debbie, for recommending this book to me. She has read a lot more of the m/m genre than I, for no other reason than I've been catching up on fantasy and paranormal genres. This one though, she said I had to read. I did and I'm damned glad she was insistent!

There is simply nothing that I can criticise about this book and trust me, I was looking. I adore how the characters get to know each other over time - yes, there's instant attraction and we all know that exists but this pair actually had time to get to know each other before moving the relationship on any further. For this reason, although they argue and fall out, they are stronger together. J never reacts the way that Matt expects him to which makes for good reading because it means you're not sure about the reaction either. There is a lot going for this pair and a lot of obstacles in their way too but because of the strength of their foundation, they face it together.

This is an excellently written, well-paced and moving story that brought both disbelief and tears to my eyes. A fantastic start to the series and I will definitely be looking for more by this author as well as the continuation of the series. Highly Recommended.

I think I just found my new favorite self help book!
These master plans are perfect for me! I just know l'll go from single
to married by the end of the summer! Seriously for a moment, Jenn Hype's books never fail to make me laugh but she's stepped her game up with this one. It took me on an emotional roller coaster ride. It has everything I've come to expect from s Hype book: A hawt hero , a take no prisoners heroine ...OK maybe one prisoner, and a cast of side characters that keep the party moving. And did I mention funny? I should have because that's a Jenn hype staple and it's definitely within these pages.

Gregory Peck at his finest
Incredibly moving, beautiful film
Very rarely does a film do absolute justice to its original book, but To Kill A Mockingbird exceeds expectations. Gregory Peck was so brilliantly casted as Atticus Finch, the moral figure of society, that you can only envision him while reading the book. The film, set after the Great Depression, is shot in black and white and is beautifully crafted.

The characters of Scout, Jem and Dill are fundamental to the storyline, showing how innocence is lost after being exposed to the discrimination of adults - in this case, an innocent black man accused of raping a young white girl, and a man with mental health issues being stigmatised by his community. A true classic in every sense.
