One of the best jazz guitarists in history
One of the most important guitarists in music history, Django Reinhardt revolutionised the jazz scene through his hot jazz band and gypsy jazz in 1920s France. He's even more remarkable for the fact that he lost the use of two fingers during a fire. His music is warm, like being wrapped in honey, and it's a treat for the ears. As a classical guitarist his music has inspired my life immensely.

There's a sex scene in this movie set to a backdrop of 80s sounding synth music, before a transition kicks in that reveals another character in the next room over is in fact playing said music on his weird space flute, and it's the single best transition in cinema history.

For me this movie is the best thing Disney has done since The Lion King. Lin Manuel Miranda did great on the music. The fact that Disney employed actors of color for the voices of the islanders makes me very happy. This story is so powerful and moving. Great job Disney.
