If your after a new release recomendation for this week I cant recomend Batman Vs Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles highly enough. Not only does it look really nice the action, humour and character portrayals are spot on too. Its also dark enough for adults and fun enough for kids making it one totally bodacious cross over dude.

Think this may be my favourite to date. So far. Carly and Neal. Well. It was another nice shorter read, which I loved. Snarky strong female vs dominant determined male. Add to it some extra complications, which I really can't mention for fear of spoiling the story for you, and you have a recipe for AWESOME!!! Seriously. Go... Read!

Sad to see hugh jackman leave the character.
I thought the movie was well done. Action packed. Excited to see where they take the xmen in the future. Its nice to see returning actors such as Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman

While one can obviously have never too much Blake's 7 in one's life, two listings for the show on Smashbomb is probably one more than is strictly necessary. (Still, at least they both agree the show's a 10 - nice to see that so many people love the sight of spaceships that were obviously made out of hair-driers...)

This picture book follows a nice dragon as he gets separated from his family and eventually finds a great life for himself. It's a bit slow, at least for adults, but kids should still really enjoy it.

A solid boxing film based on a true story. This is all about the characters and Bale's performance is incredible and steals the show. More drama than a sports film or action film. It would have been nice to see a little more ring action, however the real story is the lives of the family members involved. Great film!

Another good technological based short from Bradbury. This is about the powers of technology and spoilt children.

I loved how even though the parents so desperately wanted to turn off their house, they couldn't quite resist it enough to do it, ending in a not so nice surprise.

Even with its predictable ending, this one gives you the shivers.

Considered a classic, nice idea done many times since and better in my opinion. Starring a young Tom Hanks, maybe if a saw it as a kid it would have been more fun, but now it just looks a bit dated. It was ok at times but I wouldn't call it a classic by any means.

Some really cute patterns in this lovely book. You will have to know how to crochet before you start as there is no 'how to crochet' in this book. I love the pineapple hat and booties. The pictures are very bright to the point I was squinting to try save my eyeballs lol. All in all a nice book.
