"My mother, who is this brilliant actress [Blythe Danner], started reading Jane Eyre to me when I was probably 9 or 10 years old. It was the first adult book that I got lost in. There's one scene when Jane is a child living with her relatives, and an older cousin begins to torture her. She fights back, but ends up getting locked away in a room as punishment. I so felt her frustration. When I read it again later in school, I connected to different parts of the book — especially the scenes with Jane as a young governess, new to Rochester's house and rather unsure of herself."

Not the same as original scooby doo graphics (0 more)
Great but too cartoony
Contains spoilers, click to show
So this finally arrived on now tv and thought why not show the kids a bit of my childhood. The overall film was great and I loved how it gave you the story of how shaggy met scooby and why there bond is so close. However I did find the graphics were a little bit too overly cartoony for me but then I grew up with the old school scooby doo so maybe nothing would compare to that. Would definitely recommend giving it a watch though, especially if like me you grew up with the programme!

Past meets future
So I downloaded this free from xbox live Gold so my kids could play (and so I could lol) the game includes 2 different versions of sonic, a classic version who's seemingly mute and a modern one who likes to talk.

Mixing the generations was a fun idea and having different versions of the levels for each sonic is a nice touch, switching between the two before entering the levels.

May not have been worth the money at the time, but is definitely worth the time now.

A critical and commercial flop on its release but in my humble opinion sorely underrated. I liked how the film shows the influence of technology on human relationships largely to a negative degree and made me thankful for being old enough that I went to school in those halcyon days where we didn’t have constant access to the internet and social media. The film successfully weaves several stories of different generations in a small town and I found its different depictions of loneliness and anxiety quite moving at times. The ensemble cast all do good work (even Adam Sandler) and the quality soundtrack enhances the mood. Well worth your time.
