Some of the rules are a bit confusing
Enjoyable for team strategy enthusiasts
This is a great cooperative game to play with a group. Some of the rules take some interpretation, but it ended up being a very enjoyable experience.

Enjoyable but the stories are disparate
Viet Thanh Nguyen is a wonderful storyteller, bringing together both the hardships and opportunities faced by the refugee Vietnamese community. The stories are a complex mix of perspectives highlighting the difficulties of trying to balance identities. Only the theme seems to tie the stories together, which makes it slightly disjointed at times. And while I have read more emotive experiences, it still makes for an enjoyable read.
Jane Curthoys (2 KP) rated Instagram in Apps

I bloody love Instagram. More pictures, less insults. Many opportunities to appreciate cats. It would be great for promoting my art and forming business connections
However. It also really annoys me. It blocks me from adding people every month. I can add maybe 5 people and then for the rest of the month I am stuck. I tried all the workarounds and then some. I tried support. Nothing makes it work properly.

Andrew Koltuniuk (753 KP) rated Black Widow (2021) in Movies

Marvel. I used to love you guys so much. But Scarlett Johansson deserved this movie back in phase two. You guys just didn't have the guts to give it to her. Because you didn't, there aren't any stakes in this film. We already know what's going to happen to her, and this doesn't change anything. You had so many opportunities with this film and it just fell under the radar. Overall, better than Captain Marvel.
Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Dark Arts and a Daiquiri (The Guild Codex: Spellbound, #2) in Books

I do enjoy this series. It may only be the second book but it feels like I've known the characters for a while now and I like them all, crazy as they are sometimes. I also love how Tori manages to get herself in trouble half the time and the guys come to her rescue and then end up saving each other in the end. Equal opportunities and all that.
I'm looking forward to book 3!

Chelsey Young (29 KP) rated Persona 5 in Video Games

Fans of the Persona series or new to the franchise would love this game!
If you are a fan or not a fan of anime or the other Persona games this one is fun, entertaining, and funny. The puzzles are challenging but not crazy hard. There is a lot to do and can build your personality for your character.
AT (1676 KP) rated Google Opinion Rewards in Apps

Google Opinion Rewards is a great app that sends you random survey questions. You get awarded in Google Play credits. You won't get bombarded with survey opportunities, but the credits do add up fairly fast, even at small amounts. It works! I use the credits for Google Play purchases and in-game purchases often. The survey questions are very quick to answer, and it's so easy to use. You won't get Google Play credit rich, but hey! For a few random questions here and there, you'll get free Google Play money!
Sandra Dwinell (2 KP) rated Texas Flip N Move in TV
Sep 8, 2018
Fort Worth, Texas, real estate entrepreneurs are flipping out because of opportunities to purchase older, out-of-place homes in burgeoning neighborhoods. The structures are then moved to vacant lots and undergo complete renovations -- turning run-down dwellings into spectacular gems -- in just one week. The competition concludes at the auction block, where the flippers find out who turns the biggest profit. Who gambles and loses big? Who destroys their house mid-move? And who gets their chops busted by their annoying rivals? (From IMDb)
I was sure I’d read Dubliners before - possibly during my English Literature A Level, but I couldn’t remember what the stories were about. They really give the reader a feel of what life must have been like at the turn of the last century in Ireland. They’re not all ‘pretty’ stories either. We see alcoholism (or at least heavy drinking that impacts life and family), poverty, suicide, missed opportunities and hard decisions. So, normal life for a lot of people.
I now wonder if I should go back and reread one of his novels?
Many thanks to The Pigeonhole for serialising this book.
