[Beyond the Fortuneteller's Tent] by [Kristy Tate] was a great twist on YA romance. It involves time travel and finding your true love. The adventures and twists make this story different than your typical YA paranormal romance (a genre too filled with vampires).

I compared it to the [Outlander] series but PG because I would be disturbed to see my students reading [Galbadon] but would gladly recommend the [Beyond] books.

Taken as a whole, it’s a pretty patchwork affair, but so are all Alice Cooper albums, even the great ones. And while this isn’t one of the great ones, it also doesn’t sound like the work of a washed-up has-been who’s out of time and ideas

One of the best books I've (re)read in a long time, "Storm Front" introduces us to the world of Harry Dresden, paranormal investigator for hire.

Superb entry in a new series by (to me) a new author: I think I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for future entries!
