One of the best films ever made. The pairing of surrealist director Michel Gondry and funny man Jim Carrey is breathtaking. Jim Carrey made us all laugh with his 90's greats but this film was his letter to the world that he wasn't just a one dimensional actor and had legitimate acting chops. This film is packed with Hollywood stars, but the glare of the Hollywood 'look' is nowhere to be found. Gondry cast these actors into such unique, honest roles that allowed them to give the best performances of their lives. The Cinematography is superb and the special effects are a throwback to the days where the green screen wasn't so all encompassing. This allowed the actors to become completely submerged in their roles and help drive their award winning performances. Eternal Sunshine is beautiful and quirky and the way all films should be shot, acted and directed; with honesty, with passion. Eteranl Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is the greatest love story of our future. 10/10.

MOMOBOOKDIARY highly recommends this exciting new release from the awesome Louise Jensen.

Louise Jensen always writes with such passion it is clear to see the research that has been carried out to ensure the story is told perfectly. I had not heard of the condition that this book focuses on – prosopagnosia – which is known as Face Blindness. The lead character is unable to recognise anyone after a bump on the head. I couldn't begin to imagine how frightening it would be to not recognise anyone around me – or even myself. It is certainly a very intriguing story told from the perspective of the lead character and the person wishing her harm which makes it a tense, gripping read which keeps you guessing until the last page. I read it in two sittings (and lots of tea!).

The Date is a heart pumping read! I loved it have been recommending it to all my friends!

My thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to read and review this book prior to official release date. All opinions are my own.

Sadly, I did not enjoy The Baron's Bounty as much as the previous two books in the collection. I found the main character, Isobel, rather uninspiring and difficult to connect with - similarly, many of the characters in the book did not have the same character depth as I found in Elizabeth Rose's other books.

Similarly, although it was initially quirky, I quickly found Isobel's passion for shoes a little irritating. I mean, she likes shoes - I get it! Coupled with some quite questionably convenient plot points, little character development, and a lot of repetition early on, I just did not enjoy The Baron's Bounty as much as I hoped I would.

On the plus side, I found the action and adventure thrilling, and the character of Rose, Lord Conlin's daughter, was intriguing. I'd certainly be interested to read a future novel telling her own story!

However, I'm afraid I just could not connect with this book and it was a bit of a disappointment for me.

Autobiography of the “Supervet”
Didn’t we all want to be a vet when we were little? Well Noel Fitzpatrick held onto that dream and is now the well respected and amazing Supervet.
It was quite surprising to read how he was bullied relentlessly at secondary school. He grew up on the family farm where his passion for animals began, but this was quite an isolated start in life apart from his many siblings. He had to work hard on the farm.
Moving to secondary school meant meeting more worldly boys from the towns and he didn’t fit in. But he found ways to cope and threw himself into his studies which he still does even now.
His strong working life has come at a cost to a personal life but he does go into past relationships and regrets.
Noel Fitzpatrick has a vision for veterinary and human medicine to be able to work together and is determined to work towards that goal.
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this autobiography.
