Movie Critics (823 KP) rated The Circle (2017) in Movies
May 9, 2017
A hysterical cautionary tale for people who would like nothing better than to control-alt-delete all social media, The Circle uses finger-wagging scare tactics to admonish app-addicted millennials to momentarily ditch Facebook..

Nostalgia Is Real...
The first in the Harry Potter series is full of wonder and awe. It sets up the entire world in such an exciting way that people, old and young, keep coming back to read it again and again.

I started this book wondering if I'd like it because so many people were saying bad things but I loved it.. The characters and plot were still on. There were twists I didn't see coming and I really had a good time reading this. I can't wait to start dead ever after :)

Chris Hooker (419 KP) rated Everything Between Us (Pink Bean Series #3) in Books

I really like how Harper Bliss makes her characters real people with real flaws. It makes her books so much more relatable. Jo's self esteem issues are something almost anyone can relate to. The community of characters in the Pink Bean series is just amazing. The romance part is pretty darn good too.

modern dramedy
This show, more than anything currently depicting millennial relationships (gay, lesbian, and straight) feels real. I see myself and the people I know reflected in these characters.
Everything, from setting/costumes/filming, is basic...authentic. Williamson doesn't have anything hiding behind clever tricks and presents an emotionally intricate piece of art.

Meg Dean (138 KP) rated Bake Until Bubbly: The Ultimate Casserole Cookbook in Books

I'm not sure why so many people have given this book negative reviews! All I can figure is laziness. The author actually asks you to cook instead of open a can of high sodium crap. I bookmarked the heck out of this one and intend to use it often! Catchy title too :c)

Another John Green fave
Green does an excellent job writing a believale female protagonist who struggles with her mental health. If you like his other books, you'll like this one too. I enjoyed reading it. I was laughing and crying throughout most of it.
