I went to Elyeria to find answers and ended up with more questions.
It’s too late to turn back now, and all I can do is learn how to play the game and quickly to stay alive.
I’m a princess from one of the strongest bloodlines in history.
There’s a prophecy about me where I’m supposed to save the world, unite the supernaturals, and become their Empress, while destined to have six mates.
One of my mates can’t be trusted.
His ex wants me dead.
The Queen wants me dead.
The Council wants me dead.
Why did I come here in the first place?
Elyeria was supposed to keep me safe.
Turns out, I’m in more danger here than I was before.
Who can I trust when everyone’s eyes are trained on a Tainted Throne?
My name is Winter DelaCorte.
I am the Lost Heir of House Storm
Well this definitely starts with a bang haha quite literally!
I’m really enjoying watching Winters powers grow as well as her story. The men are just super hot but also developing well. It’s definitely a good series if you enjoy the dramas of a court vampire or Fae. A very good reverse harem!

What if the good guy you fell for turned bad, and the bad guy swooped in to save the day?
When I'm abducted, Zac is forced to make the decision he’s been running from for decades. Forever changed, he’s ripped away from me — leaving the perfect sized hole for Alex to step into.
Struggling to come to terms with our own changes, Alex and I must work together to fix this mess caused by ancient legacy and a vampire leader hell-bent on using us for his own gain.
But the vampires aren’t the only ones with something dark running through their veins… maybe underestimating me was the biggest mistake they all made?
This stepped up a bit! I enjoyed the first book and loved Jess and this one was no different she is a really good character. This book stepped up on the darkness a touch and may be a trigger to some with rape and abuse issues or those sensitive to reading that sort of material. Overall we got some kickass powers from Jess and Alex finally stepping up. This is a really good dark series and I’m still convinced a little lie a certain popular tv show.

This is where the Fantasy part of the novel kicks in as you have good vs. evil, betrayal, the old Gods and new powers and abilities.
There are crossovers between this book and The Immortals which made it interesting. However, I personally found it a tad distracting as my mind would flit back to the other book when a reference was made, but that's just me.
This was well-written and enjoyable. The 'fun' hasn't ended here though, for all that Moira has some of her answers. There is more to come from her, Bel, and Airi and I, for one, am looking forward to reading more about them.
* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book; the comments here are my honest opinion. *

A carnival bakery booth. A deadly magic show. Is it the perfect recipe for murder or a clever sleight of hand?
Palace pastry chef Imogen is struggling to control her newfound magic and her potent feelings for the prince. So when the carnival rolls into the kingdom, she jumps at the chance to run the royal bakery booth. But her plan to escape her problems backfires when murder rocks the magician's table, and her dear friend is found holding the bloody saw.
Determined to cook up a way to keep Rhonda out of witch's prison, she sifts through the clues and the long list of suspects. Between devious dark magicians, cagey stage assistants, and a strongman with more to offer than just muscles, everyone at the fairgrounds seems to be hiding secrets - even Rhonda.
With the final night of the carnival approaching, will Imogen's shaky powers be enough to flush out the murderer before her good friend ends up on the chopping block?
This series is so different and quirky. The characters just make you smile. Iggy has to be my favourite I mean a flame with personality and a sense of humour what’s not to love! It’s just such a pleasure to read.
