Finally watched last night a month after I watched orphan first kill on paramount plus in the US Finally got to watch it on blu ray but I had get as double disc with the prequel which I didn't mind anyway the film its as just as good as imagined excellent performance from both vera and isabelle who knew someone as young as she was at the time of filming could pull such a character but she does. Now I've seen both films this would be my favourite of the two

Very different to X (1 more)
Not a lot of action
Missing the X factor
This prequel to X shows how the main villain of that film Pearl first started to become a bit unhinged. Set at the same location in 1918 Pearl has a tough life working on the home Farm and helping look after her ill Father.
It's in total Contrast to X which was a refreshing take on a Slasher. This is very tame in comparison with not a great deal of Horror this time round.

How did Winston get to be the manager of The Continental, the hotel for hitmen in the John Wick films?
Not a question I ever really thought of before, but that is more or less the driving premise behind this 1970s set prequel (of a sort) to the John Wick movies.
The series is 3 episodes long, each roughly about 1.5 hours long, with each themselves more or less split into 3 acts. In all cases, I found the middle part (and the middle episode) to be the weakest.

It All Started on Arbor Day
Sho is on indefinite leave from his job as a nurse. In an effort to clear his head, he goes to visit his sister Jenny, who has just opened a diner in Bluebonnet Hills, Texas. He’s arrived in time for the Arbor Day festival, but he sees some strange things happening. And then he meets Levi Blue, an actor in town trying to get an update on the construction of his fan museum. When Levi drags Sho into the investigation, what will the two of them uncover?
This is a prequel novella that introduces the characters and sets up the premise of the series. Since I’ve read other stories with the characters, I already knew part of what we learned here, but I still enjoyed seeing everyone meet for the first time. The pacing is a little off because of the set up, but there is plenty of story here. In fact, there’s almost too much, but it does come to a logical climax. There’s plenty of humor and some serious issues as well, and the two are balanced perfectly. If you are looking for a fun, you’ll be glad you picked up this prequel.

Good but missing something
Overall the movie was pretty good. The characters, the main ones at least, held my attention for the duration of the film. There weren't any dead spots. But I would have loved to have had a back story. They need to really make a prequel to explain why this version of the world exists.

Well, I was surprised!!
My first Jack Campbell book, and it won't be my last! I should probably have read the Lost Fleet series first as this is the start of the prequel series. This was fast paced, exciting and kept me interested enough over Christmas and New Year whilst the family watched all of the repeated movies! This follows Rob Geary and his fellow explorers, as they set up home on a new planet and all of the problems they have with a neighbouring star system.
I'll be keeping an eye out for the rest of the series!

This is one of the best games all around that I have played in a long time. The story is amazing and really pulls you in. I felt like I was constantly on the edge of my seat trying to figure out the mystery of the game. The graphics were gorgeously done, and there are so many little "extras" thrown in around the world that I'm still playing it, trying to find them all. I recommend this game to all of my rpg loving friends and I would love to see a sequel or even a prequel!
