Lots of twists, interesting plot, claustrophobic
Mark Edwards' crime thriller is interesting because there is a massive psychological element to it. At times it is claustrophobic, especially as the protagonist continues to believe her assistant is plotting to overthrow her. While it does become slightly over the top, it's still gripping and engaging.

One of the best written films I have ever watched. The dialogue romps along, as does the action and the violence. As a rule I don't like violent films but Tarantino's violence is OTT rather than psychological so it becomes almost comical. This film is a cult classic and deserves this kudos.

I was late to the table having only recently watched this gripping and monstrous psychological thriller, Jodie Foster as the FBI agent in training needing Hannibal Lecter's insight into a case, Hopkins plays the manipulative cannibal with aplomb and you fear for Clarice at every turn. Top quality scares in this one.

Nice and easy read!
Nice, easy psychological thriller. I ended up guessing who the "masked man" was pretty early in the book but I enjoyed following Emma's journey in trying to remember the events of that fateful night.

The darkest side of human behaviour
This psychological thriller is surprisingly gut wrenching, and because of the lack of blurb, it leaves you wondering what to expect. This however, is the best part, as it leaves you squeaming through half of the book.

A famous novelist Bo Luxton takes an aspiring writer, Alice, under her wing, creating a relationship that spirals into a dangerous love affair. The author Sarah Stovell has masterfully constructed the book so that we get both points of view, and it leaves you guessing who is in the right and who is in the wrong. In between, is a narrative of someone who has ended up in prison - but who is it?

Well-written, extremely grim, an all round good psychological thriller.

Hallucinations and Flashbacks
Jacob's Ladder- is a really great psychological supernatural horror thriller. Tim Robbins is excellent in this film.

The Plot: After returning home from the Vietnam War, veteran Jacob Singer (Tim Robbins) struggles to maintain his sanity. Plagued by hallucinations and flashbacks, Singer rapidly falls apart as the world and people around him morph and twist into disturbing images. His girlfriend, Jezzie (Elizabeth Peña), and ex-wife, Sarah (Patricia Kalember), try to help, but to little avail. Even Singer's chiropractor friend, Louis (Danny Aiello), fails to reach him as he descends into madness.

Its also super underrated, not alot of people talk about this film or know about this film. Its a must watch psychological twisted supernatural horror film.

Roller-Coaster
Riding The Bullet- is a underrated psychological horror thriller film based off of a stephen king novel.

The Plot: Ever since his father passed away, art student Alan Parker (Jonathan Jackson) has been hypnotized by thoughts of death. After his girlfriend, Jessica (Erika Christensen), breaks up with him, Alan attempts suicide but is rescued by his friends. The next day, he learns that his mother (Barbara Hershey) has just had a serious stroke, and he sets out to hitchhike to her hospital. Along the way, he meets a series of strange people, including sinister George Staub (David Arquette), who may be Satan.

Its psychological, horrorfying, thrilling, chilling, spooky, terrorfying and super underrated.

I would highly reccordmend this movie.
