Cruel pranks, eye rolling quotes, & unlikable characters
I read this book as part of the Read Me Romance Podcast.

Well, this book probably is going to have the title of the worst book I read in 2019. I tend to enjoy the enemies to lovers trope in the romance genre because it usually means that there is a lot of banter between the characters. Banter is my weakness, & I LOVE when character banter and flirt. Unfortunately, this book was not something I could get behind. I'm honestly surprised I finished it and didn't DNF it.

The characters were not likable. Both of them were vindictive & rude to each other. There was nothing "cute" about their actions.

If you like cruel pranks, eye-rolling quotes, and unlikeable characters, then this book is for you.

I'm Chucky, wanna play?
A different kind of Slasher icon in a possessed doll on a killing spree so he can take human form again. Very tongue in cheek with a lot of humour and sarcasm. Plenty of quotes still stand out from the film. It's probably the best of the series including the many sequels and reboots.

Irreverent, deadpan comedy about a mega-arrogant spy / detective who works for his mum
The main character is such a total **** it's hilarious. Sporting my one of my favourite TV quotes: "sorry I couldn't hear you over the deafening sound of my own awesomeness."

It's very fun. And a little bit stupid. But in a clever way!

Wow, this was a beautiful graphic novel. I fell in love with the illustration. The sepia tones with the red highlights were beautiful.

This is a good companion graphic novel to "Interview with the Vampire". I found myself fascinated with the illustrations and the quotes from the original novel. I'm glad that I bought the hardcover novel because it is going to be a book that I'm going to show off.

I never get tired of watching this movie. You just need to hear the first four notes of the score and you know what was going to happen.

So I just watched this film yesterday for the first time, unless I just don't remember watching it before. I love a chick flick but this just wasn't very good. I didn't find either of the characters likeable and he never gave her a properly apology for the night they met, he just shrugged it off, yet when he quotes Shakespeare she's taken by him, it just didn't seem believable to me.

Method Man recommended Napoleon Dynamite (2004) in Movies (curated)

Napoleon Dynamite (2004)
Napoleon Dynamite (2004)
2004 | Comedy

"Loved that movie. When me and Redman were doing Method & Red — because I hadn’t seen it; I’d heard about it because I used to see pictures on the lot — when I used to drive to lunch, I would see the poster. I’m like, “Who the hell is this Napoleon Dynamite kid?” I thought it was some direct-to-DVD thing. You know, I saw someone one day, and I was like, “What is this thing about?” He’s like, “Oh this movie? You’ve never seen it?” Gave me the DVD. So I go home — I mean, the thing sat there for like two weeks. I got bored, watched it. Incredible. Now, I hang around nothing but real, you know, killers, thugs, right? I’m like, “Yo, y’all gotta check this movie out.” And I’ve thrown on movies in the past, because comedy is comedy to me. I don’t care if it’s white, black, whatever, but they usually shoot down a lot of the white comedies because they don’t get that white innuendo, whatever. I threw on this Napoleon Dynamite, they looked like they were gonna shoot me down again. I mean, they still use some of the quotes from the movie to this day. From there, it was cool for me to play Walk Hard and Anchorman and stuff like that, you know? Now it’s cool. And the fact that they didn’t use a curse word. They didn’t use one curse word that whole movie. And there are so many quotes, so many quotes. And the payoff was the dance at the end. Brilliant."

I had to review this one of my all time favourite films.
There's nothing complicated and if you explained the movie to someone I think they would say sounds stupid, but it is just pure fun to watch.
The characters are all larger than life with some amazing quotes.
“My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!”
To name just one.
There's princesses, pirates, giants and swordfights what more do you need .

There's a lot of food advice from successful and inspirational people. (4 more)
The writer's descriptions and recount of these meetings, buikds a vivd scene and you leave feeling as if you've just listened to the conversations yourself
Funny annecdotes
