Chris Hooker (419 KP) rated Kitten in Books

This was an amazing debut by Char Dafoe! It is a raw and edgy story with a pretty badass main charcter. The plot mores along nicely and any flaws will be worked out with experince. Everyone needs to give this new face in the lesbian fiction scene a read. Trust me you will love Rae!

Rolling Stone's 128th greatest album of all time
I still can't believe how early this album was, relative to the release of the better known UK punk albums. The album kicks off with the belting Search and Destroy and then Gimme Danger. The rest of the album keeps the raw intensity of those songs.
Phenomenal.
On May 2nd, 2008 Nick Levil opened fire on his classmates and then turned the gun on himself.
This follows the story of his girlfriend, and the after math she is left with.
This book had me in tears from the start.
Beautifully Written.
Raw and emotional, this was a journey i will never forget.

I enjoy watching raw recently with the braun strowman storyline it can be a great show but still needs a lot more to add and remove like the 205 matches they should just stay on 205 i am glad to see the women are now been reconigsed as they can put on better matches than some of the men
Anthony Trombetta (3 KP) rated Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017) in Movies

Worth every minute
Billboards plays out like a Chris Stapleton song, there's this raw and unforgiving grit to it throughout. The direction is precise as is the ensemble acting led by Frances Mcdormand. The layers and themes of this film play out beautifully and for me, it was a Top 5 film of 2017. Ending could've been better.
Erika (17788 KP) rated The Battle of Algiers (1966) in Movies

I hadn't heard of this movie until I took a Decolonization of Africa history class at university. I have to admit, I kind of disliked that class, until we watched this movie.
The documentary style is fantastic, it's gritty and feels raw. The Battle of Algiers is a good example of now a familiar, modern warfare.

Filled with beautifully tragic symbolism
This is one of the most tragically beautiful films I've experienced. It outraged so many people who are just not willing to admit how accurate and raw the truth of this film is. Each time watching is like a thrill ride into the mythical world of creation, sacrifice, and rebirth.

Take A Chance On This One
This was a gritty and raw read addressing issues that many young people face today. The author did a great job with the storyline and the characters were utterly fantastic. I found myself caught up in the emotions that were literally dripping off the pages and I'm glad I took a chance on this one.

Great ensamble cast and character dynamics (3 more)
Intriguing plotlines
Accurate portrayal of mental health issues
Open and honest with social issues
Smart and witty with all the raw emotions
This was a show which drew me in immediately. The characters and the obstacles of which they face are all diverse and very relatable. Be prepared to have your heartstrings tugged at
