I enjoyed the older guy/younger girl characters.. I enjoyed the writing and the storyline. There was a lot of sexyness in this story. There was a lot of happiness and sadness. The characters were relatable and made me smile. For the most part it was a very light read. It had a bit of angst but not much so it was a nice break from the more hardcore stories. It wasn't all sex which was also nice. I enjoyed the sex along with the romance. I love how they grow together even though he is older but he grows with her. It was wonderful

Colors of Immortality by J.M. Muller

Four Stars

This is my first story by this author and I was not disappointed. It was unique and captivating. The story gives you a new twist. The main character Daniel is an average teen going through more than he should. You feel how relatable his character is. Just a teen with the worst kind of luck. I enjoyed the story and how the author unfolded the story. It didn’t drag or jump around confusing the reader. The details the author paint with words gave you the feeling that you were right there experiencing the same thing in that moment.

First things first... I love Sarah Andersen. She has a wonderful way of showing what anxiety, depression, and introversion is. It's completely refreshing to find a graphic novel with a character that I relate to so deeply.

Herding Cats is hilarious, and relatable. I spent my time reading this and laughing. I related so much to these cartoons I thought for a second that Sarah Andersen was stalking me and based her story off of me. It was that scarily accurate.

All in all, this is a book that most people will be able to relate to and love.

*I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Incredibly good fun.
Incredibles 2 is a fast paced, funny and visually jaw dropping experience.

The story carries on immediately after the first one finishes and deals with the struggle of parenthood, in an intelligent and relatable way.

All the laughs and stunning action sequences are there as hoped for and boy do the set pieces look amazing.

It's a shame we have had to wait so long for this sequel but when you watch it, it feels like the super family have never been away.

A superbly entertaining sequel.

This story is based entirely in London and the surrounding areas, which is a nice change for me since most of the novels I read are based in the States. I guess in some small way it makes it relatable.

Alys, always is a mystery novel about a literary editor, Francis who witnesses the death and final words of Alys Kyte. Francis then finds herself involved with Alys's family as they try to get some form of closure from her death. Let's just say Francis makes the most of a difficult situation.

Unbelievable!
So just a quick recap, this series is all about Kamala Khan, a Muslim teenager from Jersey city. She goes through everything a teenager with strict parents go through, worrying about curfew and what would happen if your parents found out you were a mask-wearing, cape-flying superhero with powers. The concept is original and I loved that there was a very unique protagonist with a relatable storyline so I was really excited to find out about the next adventure Kamala would embark on.

Unfortunately, I was not impressed.

I was very lucky and won this dvd in a competition (: so here is my review.

I enjoyed this film, especially trying to work out who Simon’s email friend Blue is. I found the characters quite relatable, particularly when Simon acted like any normal teenager and became far too wrapped up in his own life to be a good friend.

I love that this film deals with being gay and how it is perceived and has a gay lead instead of some side character to try and be PC.

I enjoyed the storyline and development throughout the film, especially the ending, who doesn’t love it when everyone is happy.

Good character development and believable. (0 more)
Some of the dialogue is a bit repetitive. (0 more)
This novel was gripping from the start! I love the way it captivated the reader without giving away one of the major plot points until 3/4 of the way in. The characters were realistic and believable, made all the more impressive because most are teenagers. The situations they find themselves in and issues they encounter were relatable in the sense that it was entirely probable that would be the way they think, act, speak and behave. The only downside is that, at times, the dialogue was a bit repetitive. All in all, a real page-turner.

This novel was many times funny, though it was not meant to be. The self-absorption and narcissistic nature of most, if not all, the characters make this a sort of parody of the situation. The character development and the clear agenda each one has feels very color-by-numbers and, even though they are one-dimensional, they are very realistic and relatable. The concept is novel although the plot is a bit discombobulated. I enjoyed the thoughts and feelings this book evoked in me perhaps more than the book itself. The exploration into the human condition and how the relationships begin to break down was fascinating.
