For Whom the Gods live
The onscreen adaptation of Neil Gaiman's book is an excellent one. Combining topics of philosophy, religion, culture and modern day icons around present America, it stylistically portrays do we need God and whether Gods need us. A bit explicit for everyone's taste, nevertheless, a treat to sore eyes.

Fascinating look at the likely reality of a man who created a leading world religion. Helps one to understand many of the conflicting things about Islam and some of how the Middle East has wound up as it has. If you take nothing else from it, it is at least engagingly well written.

"A friend of mine turned me on to O’Connor in high school, and I’ve been reading her ever since, constantly amazed at her bold vision and wicked sense of humor. She’s one of the few writers I know who make religion seem like a radical challenge, rather than a source of comfort."
