Carley Taylor (9 KP) rated Broke Millennial: Stop Scraping by and Get Your Financial Life Together in Books
Feb 1, 2018
Okay, lets be honest. Not everyone is thinking about retirement in their 20s and I didnt either. Im steadily approaching my 30s with minimal debt but no savings or retirement fund set up (i do now!!).
This book will help any 20-something get a head start into taking their financial situation in hand.

Is a killer targeting the residence of a poss retirement home? The plot of this one was too thin, although I did like the characters.

Matthew Krueger (10051 KP) rated Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 2 (2013) in Movies
Oct 11, 2019 (Updated Oct 11, 2019)
Part 2
This is still a great part, the ending is really good. I would highly reccordmend the comic book and also this film.
The Plot: Batman comes out of retirement and gets help from a teenage sidekick. He faces off against the Joker and Two-Face before a battle to the death begins against Superman.

Part 1
Heavy hitting, violent, trauma, and more. This part of the film is really good. Part 2 not so much.
The Plot: Batman comes out of retirement and gets help from a teenage sidekick. He faces off against the Joker and Two-Face before a battle to the death begins against Superman.
It is also pg-13, so that is a plus.

A must see movie!
Not the film I would normally pick out for myself, but I'm so glad I did!
Brutal from start to finish! The story follows a hitman (Black Kaiser) on the brink of retirement when he works out that his employer (Blut) is trying to get him killed to evade paying out the enormous retirement money he has accumulated! The hitmen hired to kill Black Kaiser defintiely get more than they have bargained for and soon work out age in the hitman game is a pretty good advantage.
Quite a few sex scenes, full on brutality and an underlying story that we don't really find out about until the last part of the movie.
I did kind of find the ending could of been a lot different but wouldn't want to ruin it for those that haven't seen it.

Great cinematography (1 more)
Awesome shoot outs
A very stylish action packed film
A very good old fashioned action film. Simple plot with a former hitman coming out of retirement on a quest for revenge. This doesn't try to be anything it's not, just action packed with crazy fight and shoot out scenes. The difference is that you can see the attention to detail in every scene. From the lighting, camera angles and fight choreography the film has a very slick visual style to it.
Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2206 KP) rated Mayhem in Miniature (Miniature Mystery, #2) in Books

Gerry Porter is looking forward to seeing her family for Christmas. But soon that takes a back seat when a friend at the retirement home goes missing, only to reappear as the prime suspect in a murder. Can Gerry clear her name? The pacing was uneven, but I just love Gerry, her family, and the small town she lives in.
