Rolling Stone's 35th greatest album of all time
Excellent glam rock album, Bowie at his best with his personality fully let loose. Suffragette City, Starman and Rock n Roll Suicide are particular highlights.

"I’m a big Jack White fan. Specifically, I love the Raconteurs. They’re just fucking great, man. They’re straight-ahead rock ‘n’ roll music and it’s pretty radical. I think he’s just a weird vampire, alien, music god that has descended to bring rock ‘n’ roll music back. The Raconteurs, I think, embody all that."

Rolling Stone's 21st greatest album of all time
Great early rock and roll album by one of the greats. Roll Over Beethoven, Back in the USA, Brown Eyed Handsome Man and of course Johnny B Goode are the particular standouts, but the whole album is a great listen.

Rolling Stone's 499th greatest album of all time
Kicking off with some excellent rock and roll and mixing in some blues numbers, a great short live album. A wonderful guitarist and brilliant singer.

Rolling Stone's 191st greatest album of all time
Still not the Stooges at their Raw Power peak, but this stands out so much when compared to so much of the early 70s rock. Starting to blend from rock and roll / psychedelic rock to what would become punk it is a very good listen and has a key role to play in the development of punk rock.

Too gratuitous for its own good
This is supposed to be a commentary on gratuity, but even still the movie over did it. And then the plot kind of drizzled out. Not a great show.

Rolling Stone's 433rd greatest album of all time
A good collection of 70s soft rock songs. The only familiar song for me was "My Sweet Lord", and this very much encapsulates the feel of the rest of the album, slow melodic folky rock. There are a number of much more upbeat rock and roll songs squeezed in at the end.
