A Clever Little Love Letter to Classic James Bond Movies
With sharp cinematography, creative action sequences, and an incredibly tight screenplay, the only thing The Kingsmen stumbles over is its own cleverness. This is another movie that proves that films can be both entertaining to the masses and offer something fresh. It gives you that nostalgia for the days of shoe phones and colorful megalomaniacal villains while still subverting enough tropes of the genre to avoid feeling like a remix. Only 9 out of 10 because for my tastes, the film was just slightly too beholden to the Rule of Cool, especially towards the end of the film.

A good but sadly inferior sequel
This film suffers from what 95% of sequels all suffer from; they never live up to the originals. The problem with The Golden Circle is that it has a lot to live up to. The original Kingsman film came out of nowhere, with little expectations & it was truly marvellous. And sadly the sequel doesn't quite live up to this.
As sequels go, it's still pretty good. The action scenes were great, the plot was interesting and Julianne Moore makes for an interesting baddie. Even the addition of the Statesman was a smart move & added something different, and it's always good to see Colin Firth back
The problem however is that this film has a far more serious tone than the first. There's humour, just not as much. And the action scenes although good (especially those with Whiskey), none of them could live up to that epic church scene from the first film. Theres also the issue that a lot of the film had been shown in the various trailers, and finally, it could've done with a little more Channing Tatum and a little less Elton John.

100% worth the watch
And this movie deserved every point
I loved the first Kingsman, it has brought a new style to the spy gadget movies, most of the characters are amazing, some not so much, but still enjoyable
Right, so, the movie carries on from the first film, I'd say about a year or so has past, Eggsy 'Taron Edgerton' is a full member of 'The Kingsman' and has taken over the roll of his mentor, Harry (Colin Firth), and even taken harry's codename 'Galahad' , he is living with his girlfriend and moving forward with his life, when all of a sudden the Kingsman's headquarters were attack and destroyed.
With the world being held hostage by 'The Golden Circule' led by Poppy (Julian Moore), who is head of a drug cartel, and with a scheme to add poision into all her drugs and will only give the cure to the infected people of the world is if all the worlds leader comply with her demands,
So Eggsy and Merlin (Mark Strong) have to jump the pond to ask for help from there American cusins, 'The Statesmen', who is led by Champ 'Jeff Bridges', there cover is an organisation posing as a Bourbon whiskey distillery in Kentucky, and together they have to try and stop Poppy (Jillian Moore) from completing her evil schemes
I have to say this movie is realllllly good, the fight sequences are amazing, and the music fits the film perfectly, Taron Edgertons screen presents is just top class, and working off Colin Firth and Mark Strong, just an amazing cast, with a sneaky addition to the cast from a well known person ?, which was surprisingly nicely done, there are a few little changes I would have made, but still as a whole still amazing
If you like the Kingsman, you will absolutely love the Kingsman: The Golden Circule, I recommend you looking for the next showing and watching it now......why are you still reading this GO!

Watching this movie is had a good time, it was easy to watch, the acting was good, the story was good, unbelievably at time but the wierd thing is it's based on a true story
the only problem is for some reason it felt like it was on for 3hours, but it's only got a run time of 1hr 55mins, but it felt a lot longer, don't get me wrong i enjoyed it, it isn't felt like it was on too long, it might have been because I had already seen the funny parts in the trailers
But still a good movie
I would probably Wait till it's on Netflix or something

Home Invasion with a twist.
Contains spoilers, click to show
This is one of those movies where I found you just can't trust "expert" reviews in because though they all hated it I've yet to meet an actual horror/thriller fan that didn't just love You're Next.
It really took the home invasion genre and gave it a gorey and all around fun change with a great twist that the helpless finale girl is actually a total kick ass survivalist that just plain old fucks everyone up.

The show that gave me anxiety and trust issues
Season 1 of The Following is probably the least trust worthy show that has ever aired because as soon as you think you figured out who you can trust the writers basically pull the rug out from under you... Every single time.
The best part of The Following is that they really show the twisted mentality that can go on in a cult and just how easy they find it to pull more people in.
While later seasons fell short the first season is definitely something I would recommend checking out.
