A vivid account of survival and growth
Dwight Watkins, a seasoned writer and teacher with indisputable talent and skills, gives a detailed account of living on the 'Other Side' of Baltimore. The Beast Side is a socio-historical examination of black lives in the United States juxtaposed against his upbringing in the area. Ready for the scrap heap
I finally got round to seeing this, knowing it wasn't going to be that good. I was surprised that quite a few cast members of the first two were still in it. Sadly no Paul Weller as Robocop and it shows! The story, acting, SFX all of it was pretty rubbish compared to the cult status of the first one. It's been dumbed down quite a bit too and not as violent as the first two either. One to avoid.

Hmm it's ok I didn't think it was as good as the first. A lot of drama and not enough action for me. The pace of the film felt too slow and the comparison to Romeo & Juliet is overplayed. Some ok SFX, pity didn't get to see more of the bad vampires. One girls will like more than the guys, especially with all the topless guys showing six-packs stomachs. Hope the 3rd is more action packed.

Going down hill with each new film
....and still they try to pad out another 2 hour film with about 30mins of story! The 3 films could have been condensed into 2 longer and better films easily. It's too predictable and for all the build up to the big battle it barely lasts a few minutes and it has too much posturing between Jacob and Edward. This Saga is really only going to appeal to teenage girls at this rate.
