Very good story. I enjoyed the characters and the complex emotions involved. The writing as always was amazing. The entire story and characters make me laugh, smile, sad, and happy all during one story. I loved it all and am so glad I was able to review it

This one was good. It had some slower parts.. but overall was adventurous and interesting. The characters were fun to read about, the plot was good. It made you laugh and made you sad. It kept you on your toes. I am very glad I got to review it

amazing. i loved this story and the characters. it was funny.. and just a lot of fun to read. some parts were sad.. some happy.. some fun.. some not.. it was all kinds of feelings.. and i really enjoyed it. i am glad i got to review it

This is my first Holy Black book that I have read, and oh man she had me hooked. I loved how the characters grew through out the story. And I'm sad to know I have to wait awhile to read the next one. I definitely recommend this book.

Diana is someone who has the talent of bringing history to life. The character's she has made make you want to be there with them, experiencing what they are experiencing.

Having watched Applegate over the years and loved everything I was ready with Netflix to get this started and I was not let down. Before I knew it I had binged watch the while 1st season (inserted sad face). Counting down days to season 2?!

Horrible.

Never read this. It's so sad, dark, and depressing. What a horrible ending. If you want to know about cults, go watch the Kool-Aid Cult documentary - This book is just a knock-off of that. It's labelled as "dystopian" but it's definitely not, it's just freaky.

It was slow going at first, but my interest increased with each story and I was excited to read about Celaena's past. Learning her love story with Sam was both enlightening and sad at the same time. However, I'm looking forward to getting back to the current story.
