The sad truth is that the trailers lied ... By that I mean the trailers had us believing this was gonna be a really great film, in reality the best thing about the film was the trailers for it. I found myself bored and found the acting subpar and lacking. Sorely disappointed

Thanks to NetGalley and Oni Press for the advance copy

This was equally as delightful as the first book. Wendell is just a delight and I love him so much. This story is so tender and heartwarming but at the same time so sad and as always the artwork is beautiful!

"This was the book that made my John Updike collection pretty much superfluous. In one big, sprawling, ambitious novel, DeLillo captures the soul of white America at its most optimistic, soaring and sad — an amazing achievement. You can read this and look at what the country is now and cry tears."

A dark, sad story
Testament of Youth is one of those films that isn’t terrible, but it’s brilliant either. It’s just a good solid film. It has a great cast, especially Alicia Vikander, all of whom put on very good performances. It’s very strange to see Kit Harington in something other than Game of Thrones, and it takes a while to get used to this but he does very well. The script is good and the story itself is pretty sad and harrowing. Kind of what you’d expect with a romantic film based around the First World War, but it was still quite saddening and painful to watch. An all round good and intriguing film to watch.

The movie in a whole aweaome . funny new toys make for a good watch. Original cast kinda of a fail they pay alott of attention on the new cast then they do the original only down fall i seen. I feel its a feel good kids movie sad kinda but not as sad as 3. If you got kids are your just nostalgic and have to live that toy story moment again give it a try.. woody buzz some of the original cast appear 3 or 4 lines.. Bo peep out of nowhere becomes huge part. Creepy dummys new antagonist ok.. over all not one i would put at my watch over and over kids list.

I really liked this movie. I didn't see it until this year on television. I really liked it because of the actors they used to portray the characters. I did not like the ending because only one guy survived and he was referred to as a hero.

One of the books everyone should read for it reminds us that we are only a part of the world, not the owners of it. Beautifully written but harsh and sad. Not a one I can love but I feel glad to have read it.
A book to keep, because it feels important.

The three main characters in this film are all strong females (I like that in a female character!!). A real eye opener to a Brit like myself. I was so sad to finish this - I really wanted to know what would happen next - a sign of a good film in my opinion!!

A great character drama
An odd titled film I knew little about before seeing other than great reviews and highly rated performances from the lead actors.
It's gripping, dark, sad and quite often funny in a dark way. Raising some very relevant topics in society at present. Believe the hype!

The Clone Wars Edition of Risk is one of my favorite board games. It's the Republic vs the Separatists, and it's such a fun variation. Of course, it does only end one way, but it's still fun. I'm sad they don't produce it anymore, because copies of the game are now $60+.
