I freaking loved this book - I loved the person who narrated it for audio, all around this book was amazing! I've read a few books with MM relationships (Silvera) but the alien aspect was quite awesome, and it was hilarious in points, sad in others, it had a nice balance.

I can't wait to read another

A lovely romance novel, with lots of moments that will make you giggle and feel sad, approve and disagree with Very and Johnny's decisions all the time - an adventure that you can't afford to miss this time - especially if you are a book lover and `Pride and Prejudice` is one of the many books you truly love!

3 friends talking nuttin about Nuttin
I’m not really sure what I can say... I love Dear Diary it’s like a conversation amongst friends and I’m the sad loser they are letting in on the conversation.

No subject is taboo and The opinions of these 3 are going to be known.

Somehow Makes Creepy & Depressing Work
I don't usually like overly sad, weird, or creepy stuff. I know it has its place; it's just not my thing. The Black Parade checks all those boxes...and yet, it's among my favorite albums. Ever. No, I'm not sure what set it apart. But I'm glad I listened to it.

Good British made film
Have now seen it several time and it is still just as good. Look up the real story afterwards and yes movies being movies they have omitted a lot from the story. Funny, sad, and thought provoking and brilliantly cast, there are some laugh out loud moments. Go watch it, you will not be disappointed.

"Austere, quiet, and sad. On the surface, a simple story—mundane, even—but Ozu’s understanding of the subtleties of real human behavior imbue the characters with an emotional depth that takes the film into the sublime. When I first watched Tokyo Story a couple of years ago, it immediately made me rethink my entire approach to writing characters."

"“I was obsessed with him when I was a kid. I think it’s a very defining moment for a reader when you first encounter tragedy in fiction. I think it was the first time I ever heard or read a sad story. But at the same time, it was also such a beautiful story, and so well told.”"

"The Book of Ecclesiastes probably inspired the opening line of Beckett’s first published novel (“The sun shone, having no alternative, on the nothing new.”) Not Beckett’s most important work (whatever that means) or his most influential, but the one I love the most, maybe because he hadn’t yet perfected his art, maybe because it’s funny and sad and brilliant."

1983 | Comedy, Drama, Romance

"It’s basically my perfect movie. Character driven with phenomenal performances, so idiosyncratic, and funny as hell, as well as achingly sad. The ideal combination of comedy and tragedy. I adore Shirley [MacLaine] and Jack [Nicholson] together. I love them, full stop. It’s the most satisfying tearjerker ever made because the lows are so beautifully balanced with gorgeous, swelling highs."
