Obsessed book reviews (49 KP) rated The Catch (The Player, #2) in Books
May 7, 2019
This is the second book in this series by this author. I couldn't wait to read this book after reading the first one. This is the conclusion to the series and all unanswered questions are answered. This book will still shock you though. This book has fantastic twists and turns which will have your heart racing and will have you happy and sad. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

Great App to entertain kids
This is one of my go-to apps to entertain my toddler while out and about. It has all your favorite Daniel Tiger songs and gives you suggestions on parenting and activities to do with your kids. The only downside is that it had to be connected to the internet to play the videos, so if your in a place without reliable internet be prepared for a sad toddler.

Captain America: The First Avenger where I was finally sold on the concept of the Avengers in the MCU (I am not a RDJ/Tony fan). I love period films, so I was all for it. The characterization of Steve Rogers was spot on. Hugo Weaving was good as Red Skull, and I'm sad that the character won't be brought back ever. Hayley Atwell as Peggy is one of my favorite characters out of the whole MCU, and her intro in this movie was great.

Wow!
I rate this film highly. It makes you question your own moral compass. It deals with such provocative subject matter is such a provocative way. It's ultimately a sad indictment of the fact man can't live in peace with man but, in the end, it's an uplifting experience.

Slow start, great end
This book was sort of a paradox. You couldn’t wait to see how it all ended, but you never wanted the series to end. It was a bit of a slow start and middle. But that is what the author was going for. She wanted to create that experience and she was successful. The end picked up quick and then...all done! So sad... Glad that she randomly comes out with the support books like Fantastic Beasts to keep us junkies going.

Ugh - 3-4 stars. I love contemporary, etc. but I found the MC in this book to be a wee bit annoying. Yes, what they're doing is awesome because the boys are absolute assholes in this book, but at a certain point when your potential love interest acts like a jerk (somewhat) and you just whine about how sad you are about it.. no thank you. Still, the message was awesome - so applause - girls need to fight back, especially in some of those situations - female empowerment FTW!

great music
great acting
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie. It took me a little while to get completely into it and i felt like it took a little while to get going, but once i did i loved it.
This movie made me both laugh and cry (sometimes both at the same time), and even though the story has some sad undertones, at heart it is a feel good film, and genuinely makes you feel good about yourself and who you are.

A usual and interesting book
This book is about data and how newspapers and politicians manipulate it to make things appear negative as that's what works best for their viewpoint. Hans talks about how to stop data that isn't interpreted correctly as well as discussing the progression the world has made. Their is a sad twist at the end of the book so do read it all the way through.

Excellent war film, very well done cinematics
Would highly recommend going to see this. Loved the first person aspect and the fact that it was one take. This made for a very immersive experience and I felt really connected to the characters/story.
Reason for not 10/10 is the fact that some of the shadow work I think was a bit wrong and didnt match the setting. Would have to watch again to confirm this.

Incredible story telling (2 more)
Fast paced action
Very clever twists
The final instalment of the Decaying Days trilogy is even better than book 1 and 2 (if that is even possible!) The highs are higher the low are lower, the rollercoaster ride is more intense with twists and turns, and the end...well, see for yourself. There are tears, there is staring off into space as you process what just happened and ultimately it’s a little sad to put the book down.
This trilogy is highly recommended.
