Enjoyed the final chapter of the Infinty Saga. Definitely a fitting end. (4 more)
Jake Gyllenhaal (probably spelt it wrong) is brilliant as Mysterio.
Very amusing! Daughter loved the quips from MJ.
No spoilers here... But the scene when spidey gets disorientated... Loved it! Very cleverly executed.
As usual: some great call backs to characters from precious marvel movies.
Thank you Smash Bomb!
Received the DVD from Smash Bomb giveaway. Super pleased to have won it. Delivered really quickly as well.
The film itself... I watched it at the cinema and even though I'd already seen it, like most marvel movies, was more than worth another watch.
Storyline was great to finish off the infinity Saga.
Actors were brilliant. Especially loved Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio.
Enjoyed the callbacks to previous marvel movies and felt the film was executed brilliantly.

A great edition to the saga
Here we have a great prequel to a saga I love and it was done well. In this book we are taken back to the early days of the Hunget Games, with the turmoil of the war still felt. Instead of seeing the Games from the perspective of not some District reble, but the Capital born Cornelious Snow.
A little inside into his early and transformative years was refreshing and made me want to dive right back into the trilogy.
One thing Susan Collins does so well is write protagonists who are far from perfect and borderline unlikeable, yet from Katniss to Snow, somehow, we still end up routing for them.
Well worth a read, but it is definitely better read after The Hunger Games, when it will be truly apriciated.
Get ready to gasp!

Rey and Kylo Ren facing off again (1 more)
Return to showing hope in a dark spot.
A new New Hope
While there are many complaints of the handling of the Jedi path, I found this volume in the STAR WARS saga to be extremely fun, full of the hope the original trilogy inspired, and a lovely way to introduce more characters to root for.

Continuing the gruesome Tall Man saga
These movies seem a lot like the Evil Dead franchise in that one movie picks up right where the other leaves off and is one linear story the whole way through. This entry was still pretty good with the usual gruesome bits and flying death spheres of fun. Not as much action in this one as the first two.

Twiliked it a lot
Four days after beginning this epic journey reliving my very early 20s it came to a close this evening after 759 pages...
Fans of The Twilight Saga will know this story well, but the retelling from the POV of Edward, is actually very eye opening.
Previous works by Meyer were rough around the edges, and not very polished, the language used not conveying the nature of such a largely followed saga... Midnight Sun is very well written, the language and style more mature. However I did find that there were too many pages per chapter, thus making “breaktimes” seem too far off...
I enjoyed the novel humanising the Cullen clan a little more, whilst still showing off their obvious vampiric differences! Not to mention being inside the head of someone who is typically in everyone else’s heads...

The end of an era
Contains spoilers, click to show
What can I say about the Endgame apart from wow. The end of the infinity saga is 3 hours of Marvel awesomeness.
I got chills when they all started appearing through the portals.
Would I recommend: definitely.
Should you see the other movies first: the only one you should definitely see is Infinity War but all the others are pretty good and worth watching too.

What an end to the phase
Im a massive Marvel fan and have to say I love this version of Spider-man, this film was a great end to the infinity saga and was really a coming of age for Spider-man. I saw a lot of the plot twists coming but one in big one caught me by surprise! Triangle sandwiches anyone?

Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom (1984) deserves far more fortune and glory on its 35th Anniversary
Unjustly denigrated by fans, unfairly disowned by its creators, “Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom” has long had to fend off more than its fair share of criticism. Now, on its 35th Anniversary, it’s time this neglected middle child of the Indiana Jones saga got the praise it’s due.
