Solid Sci-Fi Muder Mystery
I received this novel via my BookCase Club subscription and am pleased to say that it was one of the better novels that I have received in my short time with the club.
The moon has been colonized by the dregs of society from Earth, with the entire population controlled by an enigmatic megalomaniac. It's a murder mystery, complete with a psychotic android, with a sci-fi bent, and it all works, for the most part.
I did see the ending coming, but it did little to dull my enjoyment of the book. A quick read, perfect for a plane trip or vacation.

Kicking off with a genuinely iconic horror kill, Cube is a blast from the get go, albeit a slow burning one.
The whole film has a claustrophobic and intimate feel, with a minimalist set design and a small cast, who are all great by the way. The simple narrative is tantalizing and executed well, with some tense moments, decent plot twists, and the odd splash of sci-fi gore for good measure.
It's low budget, boasts some dodgy effects occasionally, and not at all groundbreaking or spectacular, but it has that 90s sci-fi/horror charm to it, and overall is a competent and entertaining thriller. One of those films that I could easily watch every couple of years.

Great Sci-Fi Series
Great first book to the series. It hooked me in right away and by the time I was finished reading, I wanted to start on the next book. The characters are complex and interesting. The story itself is well told and has you on the edge of your seat.

Intelligent science fiction
This film is a linguist's dream. Finally an intelligent sci-fi showing the importance of communication in understanding others. It's beautifully shot and it mixes a bit of a Nolan style mystery into it. It is slightly inconceivable at times but that's the premise of a science fiction film.
