"One movie that I often find myself going back to is Rosemary’s Baby. This has always been a big influence on me, or a source of ideas; and it’s always been one of my favorites. Mia Farrow gives a great, big performance in it, and I’ve read the script and it’s a terrific script. So that’s one I’d say."

Charlie Day

Del Toro's worst

Guillermo Del Toro is a fantastic director, but he really does himself a disservice with this film. It's an interesting story idea and the effects are pretty decent, it's just a shame the acting and script are awful. Charlie Day is beyond irritating in every scene he's in, and even Idris Elba doesn't come off well.

Not a very original story but the animation here is top notch as is the voice acting from an all star cast that should really have had a better script to get their teeth into, Harmless fun for kids with great music, but can't help but think the recycled script is nothing to write home about and the cast wasted.
