Edgar Wright's new movie is one of the best films of the summer. The cast does a stellar job delivering a fantastically clever and witty script. The style that this movie oozes is awesome and the soundtrack is exceptional. This is a ride that everyone should experience.

Acting ON POINT. Directing ON POINT. The script is kinda labyrinthine, but the aforementioned on point aspects makes me want to watch it again.

Charlie Day
Del Toro's worst
Guillermo Del Toro is a fantastic director, but he really does himself a disservice with this film. It's an interesting story idea and the effects are pretty decent, it's just a shame the acting and script are awful. Charlie Day is beyond irritating in every scene he's in, and even Idris Elba doesn't come off well.

Not a very original story but the animation here is top notch as is the voice acting from an all star cast that should really have had a better script to get their teeth into, Harmless fun for kids with great music, but can't help but think the recycled script is nothing to write home about and the cast wasted.
The script itself is an eight but the actual play in the West End goes so far beyond 10 I can't even begin to say.
