I remember when the TV version first came out in 1980s and never watching it. So when I heard they were making a movie based on it wasn't sure if I would like it but it really is good performances from the cast good script maybe I should go back and the TV version

Pretty hilarious
Definitely wouldn’t consider this a horror movie at all, are there zombies? Yeah. Do some people die? Yeah. But it’s not a horror movie, a satire? Sure. Adam Driver and Bill Murray were great, you’ll definitely get some good laughs from the script and how it’s all played out. Would watch it again for sure.

"I loved this. I loved the app it came out on (technically 2017). I loved watching it on Apple TV. I loved the cast. I loved the composition. I loved the script. I loved that it was kind of bad but also really good. I love that Soderbergh does these casually insane experiments decades ahead of everyone. He is truly a mad scientist."

"All of my favourite films are approaching realism in a different way. This is Italian neorealism – obviously there’s a script and a story and everything, but it’s shot in the street and it has the feel of Italy, of being in the streets and, like Idaho, a deceivingly, simply constructed narrative. But there’s so much emotion that’s evoked from these very simple stories."

The idea was good but the execution was terrible. Awful filmography, script and the acting was over done. Seemed to be random decisions that lead to life and death.

At one point we were just focused on someone's stomach whilst the main character spoke to him due to the height difference

"I love True Romance. When I read the script for Dead Man Down, it kind of reminded me a little bit of that one. It’s like some kind of thing similar to that crazy world around them: the violence, the criminals, the macho culture, and those two main characters with very complicated souls. So that one is one of my favorites."

Watched today thought it was a good too long at 2 and half hours but it has a good script could get dark and grimm in places plus good performances from the cast could have done with abit more cate blanchett who doesn't appear to the second half of the movie overall good afternoon viewing
