I was pretty skeptical about this book because it had such a hype around it. It started off pretty slow, I was having a hard time engaging with the characters until Day Four of Caraval - I will tell you, I was unable to put the book down after that and finished it mere hours later. I have since pre-ordered the sequel.

I received a copy of Shadow Frost from Blackstone Publishing in exchange for an honest review.

I'm a sucker for world building and this one was a thrill to read.

I loved the way magic was portrayed in this book but most importantly I adore the characters.

I really really hope there's going to be a sequel to this one, because that cliffhanger!

Wow. This was a great sequel to the first one. I absolutely loved watching it! None of the songs felt like they stood out too much and it was a pleasure to see all of these characters again! Moving performances and a good plot that I thoroughly enjoyed! I'm excited to see a third one if they decide to make it!!

The sequel to Destination Moon, nearly entirely set in the rocket heading to (and from) that location, or on the actual moon itself.

As I said before, it's amazing to think that these were written before man first actually did so: yes, there are some scientific inaccuracies and false assumptions, but it's also amazing just how much these stories get right!
