Intense, riveting and dark ... just what you want from a psychological thriller about a serial killer in a small town. An excellent read and an author I will most definitely be looking out for in the future. My thanks go to the Publisher and NetGalley for my ARC.

Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes
Conversations With A Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes
2019 | Crime, Documentary
After the huge hype about a new movie coming out called Ted Bundy featuring Zac Efron of course there was going to be a mass calling for more information on the serial killer. So when on Netflix they said they were doing a series on unseen and unheard clips of Ted Bundy then I, like many, were pulled in ready to be wowed.
I was left a little underwhelmed and a bit dissapointed to be honest. I think I was expecting more drama or something we hadn't ever heard about Ted Bundy, but if you had already done your research (or even Wikipedia'ed him) then this TV series didn't really give you much more.
The first few episodes I felt were very slow and didn't really hold my attention but through perseverance I kept with the show till the end.
It was interesting and hearing and seeing actual witnesses and people from Ted Bundy's life was certainly one plus to watching this series and an interesting input and out look on the serial killer.
What most fascinated me was the fact that police ended up going to Ted Bundy and asking him to help them solve other Serial Killer murders, that was possibly the most eye-opening through out this.

An interesting series if you haven't seen or heard about Ted Bundy and a clever outlook to the Serial Killer, but over all not a winner in my eyes.

A great acting performance from Charlize Theron is what stands out the most. Telling the true story and sad decline of a prostitute turned serial killer. I think that fact it's based on a true story makes it more interesting, however the story as such is quite straight forward.

Bale gives an amazing performance in this movie and Letto is great as well. One of the best serial killer movies i have ever scene and I can say it's better than Dexter. This also proves that Batman really did kill the joker at one point.

Crazy smart serial killing awesomeness
My word what a book; this just hit all the right spots for me. Twisted smart killer with a good backstory and cops with a personality after him - all the good stuff.

When a serial killer gets stopped abruptly in a 5 year spree - by a city bus, Sam the detective who has been tracking him down has to find the latest victim before it’s too late. The diary on the body may provide insights.

I’m not sure what I enjoyed most about this book the main story itself with the cops racing against time or the backstory of the killer provided by his diary. Both parts were engaging and I couldn't put it down for wanting to get to the next part. There’s even gruesome discoveries in a box (hello happy Seven memories).

The cops were great characters, really enjoyed the well placed bits of banter. A lot of crime books I've read recently seem to lack real personalities for the investigators but not here.

Story was well worked out, well written and just a pleasure to read.

Can't wait to get my hands of the next 4MK thriller

Doomsday Killer
Another very good series of Dexter, although for me the least interesting main plot so far. Dexter is tracking another serial killer reenacting scenes from the bible to bring about the end of the world. Colin Hanks guess stars this time round. Still very good but not as exciting as the last 3 series and some twists I didn't think worked.. But a great finale!

Cracking serial killer thriller
Don't trust the critic reviews! This is a very enjoyable thriller, set in an amazing remote location. It has a strong cast and mixes up the thriller / Slasher genre slightly. If you have not seen it yet check it out.

Just seen this has the same director as @I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997) which explains the Slasher feel.

Christine Nelson has wanted nothing more than to be a mother. When she and her husband, Marcus have trouble conceiving, they use a sperm donor in order to have their child. Soon after Christine finds out she's pregnant, a news story comes on about a serial killer who is killing nurses. The killer looks a lot like their sperm donor and Christine will not rest until she finds out the truth. Traveling from Connecticut to Pennsylvania, she uses all her available resources to find out who the father of her child is no matter what her husband thinks.

Lisa Scottoline writes a book that is almost impossible to put down. Gripping from start to finish, Most Wanted sends you on a roller coaster ride that you never want to get off of. Zachary Jeffcoat is the name of the sperm donor. Everyone on the east coast knows him right now as the Nurse Killer. He claims he is innocent and Christine wants to believe him for no other reason than she doesn't want to be carrying a baby that could turn out to be a serial killer, can you imagine?

When Christine decides to visit Jeffcoat in prison, her husband thinks she is making a big mistake. But like all mothers, protecting her child is her number one priority and she will not rest until she knows if she is carrying a possible serial killer or not.

Addictive sequel to Cain's "Heartsick" -- featuring serial killer Gretchen Lowell, detective Archie Sheridan, and reporter Susan Ward. Picks up shortly after the end of the first novel, with the intersection of a story Ward is pursuing and the ongoing twisted relationship of Archie and Gretchen. As with the first novel, hard to put down...

Finally watched this at long last hearing it was a good film for a while now. It's very unique and very stylish. It starts off similar to The silence of the lambs, with a serial killer on the loose who is getting bolder which each new victim. They track him down but he has a seizure and with the latest victim still missing they need to find her quick! Using a sort of virtual reality programme J.Lo must enter his mind to find the answers.
A very good film, if quite weird during the dream scenes but these also look excellent, very surreal and elaborate. You will enjoy this if you like serial killer films, horrors and the just plain weird!
