Group of trainee camp councellors are about to discover that history is about to repeat itself as they are dismembered by a masked maniac can they surive.
The first of many sequels and the first to feature jason as the killer wearing a sack over his head. The kills are gory and amy steele is brillant as the lone surivor. One of the better sequels but no sign of the hockey mask yet

I had great hope's for this book, due to reviews I had read before picking it up. A bit disappointing, if I'm honest. It did read like a story but without any emotion. It was predictable which was quite off-putting. I read reviews of humour, but I found none. Written in short chapters so very quickly and easily read. I did read it all though, so there is that. I probably wouldn't recommend.

I’m a huge fan of McEwan’s—my first feature was based on his short story “First Love, Last Rites,”—but this is the one that stays with me."

I really do enjoy a good short story, and this book certainly delivers in spades on that count. Quirky, dark, thought provoking, touching on pretty much ALL the genres. All of the stories are about possible versions of the US, some are more positive than others. This is well worth a read, but be warned: it’s bizarre and offbeat, which is a big plus where I’m concerned.
