Reading this book took me back to high school and the day I walked into the locker room and saw one of my dearest friends undressed... the way she looked still haunts me but I'm thankful that her parents sent her away to an inpatient program.

This is one of those reads that opens your eyes to eating disorders and packs a powerful message into each and every single line. A must read.

So, did this one live up to all the hype? Yes, in a way it did. Let's just say that it managed to hold its own and it was a very enjoyable read. Will it be one of my top ten of the year? No it won't be but I still really enjoyed it

Amazing story, I was hooked from the first page. This is a story about two single parents trying to find time to have romance. Amazing characters, you will fall in love with from the start. This is a hot and steamy read with plenty of romance. I can't wait to read more from this author in the future.

Highly recommended read

This is my Favorite Bill Murray Movie
I know he's done a lot of great comedies, but for whatever reason this one continues to make me laugh every single time. It's smart in a way it shouldn't be, his reactions are over the top, but there is nuance to them as well. There's a scene where he's talking to a dead guy and it's pure magic. This is a desperately underrated classic.

One of my favorite books of all time
There are really no words to describe this book. It is everything you could want in a book and more. The universe is so incredibly imaginative and every single thing that has been developed in this world is so well thought out and created. The story has its laughs and it’s intense moments. The narrator is perfect and it’s just everything you want in a story.

Party
Simple but incredibly effective bouncy rock music with a piano or keyboard as the main instrument. Happy and raucous.
The lead single (Party Hard) was a huge hit and rocked like an out of control party BUT the album tracks all sound so similar that they blur into one. It's a shame because it's a hell of a trick making the piano into a rock instrument again.

This was an interesting read as it's a part of history that I don't often read about (i.e. the development of the atomic bomb during World War II). I liked the attempt to tell a variety character's experiences woven through a single plot, but it end up just not working for me. I felt a bit distant from all of the characters, some of which are actually unlikeable and never redeem themselves.
