I found myself laughing out loud at Susan’s prickly character as she finds herself in a love triangle, navigating family ties and dealing with 9 months of pregnancy at the age of 45. The protagonist of this book is Frankie, a single mom of two girls, one is fourteen and the second one is four. The book is written as a diary and covers one year of Frankie’s life, and it was an amazing book to read. The main thing why it is so good, is because it seems real and very relatable. Frankie seems like any mother, tired, annoyed, and in need of “Me” time.

With his voice coming straight at ya right from the start, the hooks keep coming from Alex Bayly with his single Wade in the Water. Dreamy guitar licks and a tight bass line keep this track driving like a folk arrow through snow. It’s a track that belongs in your roots collection. If you squint at the chorus you can almost see Jeff Buckley; and that is not a coincidence judging by the title.

I didn't quite see the point of this. The first book, if tweaked a little, could have been one single story and this one wouldn't have been needed because apart from a few key points, nothing actually happened. Though the few things thrown in at the end have me intrigued. The Bethy thing. And the Grant thing. But I don't think I'm going to be continuing this series, so it doesn't matter either way.

This is a real game changer in regards to action/revenge movies.A film with a very simple plot that requires very little thought but contains some of the best action sequences ever seen on film.Fast paced,fluid and intense with not one single minute of the film wasted with long speeches and unnecessary plot diversions this film can proudly lay claim to one of the best (if not the best) action films of all time.
