Emma is running around after her sister trying to sort things out to meet her in Europe, however, things do not run as smoothly as she would like and she finds herself dragged into a world she never knew existed, as well as falling in love and trying to save her twin sister from the clutches of an evil vampire.

I love Miranda's writing she is so imaginative and her stories just tend to flow. There are always seems to be the right amount of drama, love, action, fighting and dialogue between all of the characters involved.

This book seems to have a lot of sexual content but it's not crude it's written in a protective way almost.

If you love vampires, magic, gods/goddesses, and fighting for your life I would recommend reading this book it's fantastic!

Quick read. Passionate. Same sex love between two women. (0 more)
Sometimes life isn't quite what you expected. A novel about finding yourself and finding true love.
This is a nice little debut novel about Sophie, a young woman who is torn between her love for her boyfriend and her growing feelings for her best friends sister. Set in Scotland, this novel is tragic, romantic, gripping and sad.

The prolonged grief of watching someone suffer
Terribly sad to read Cathy Rentzenbrink's real account of watching her brother in a vegetative state eight years after a hit and run accident. It raises many moral questions including is it right to let someone live in pain or die quickly under horrible circumstances. This book is truly a love story between a sister and brother. Expect many tears.

A cautionary tale of mob mentality
This is absolutely tragic. The last few scenes remind me of Frankenstein. This mystery novel surrounds a quirky young woman, her older agoraphobic sister Constance, their disabled uncle and an enigmatic cousin. They have a rather hideous family secret that is revealed midway but the reasoning behind it remains unknown. It is a fascinating story, engaging, and straightforward.

So funny. (0 more)
Derry funny!
Me and my sister in law stumbled onto this on All 4 one day and watched the lot in one go.
On the floor, tears rolling down our cheeks laughing.
The humour is very dry so some people may not find it as funny but more crude, but for someone who has a good sense of humour, give it a go!
