Movie Critics (823 KP) rated Life (2017) in Movies
Jun 19, 2017
Life is a solid and enjoyable sci-fi flick. It's certainly not going to be a classic that will be remembered in years to come but it's definitely entertaining. The visuals are strong - both for the look of space and the realisation of Calvin the alien.

I really enjoyed this book. It is a slightly different twist on the police officer/military officer and civilian love story. The characters were well developed. There was pleanty to0 keep the plot flowing and it was very readable. Normally I shy away from anything space but this was very well done and not "out there". I am looking forward to reading more from Ms. Luck.

An emotional rollercoaster of a movie that I watch at least once a year.
It's a story told with such measured elegance that you cannot help but get caught up in Andy's prolonged pain and suffering, then uplifting euphoria when he finally orchestrates the ultimate revenge upon his cruel captors, I do not have enough space in this review to truly do this gargantuan movie justice.

Still working my way around this app which I use on my computer. I tend to use most apps on my computer rather than my phone as they take up so much space. A lot of stuff I haven't seen yet in the film section. Book section is great, music wise a lot of bands I have not heard of. All in all a good app though
Stephanie Neve (104 KP) rated Catch Me If You Can: The True Story of a Real Fake in Books

I really enjoyed this book and read it in a very short space of time. It was interesting hearing the minutiae of how he performed his heists.
He was very woman obsessed though. It reads very 60's sexist but otherwise a fun read!
