First half: 2 stars
Second half: 4 stars

Overall rating: 3 (and a quarter) stars, simply because of how exciting that second half was.

So it's taken me almost a month to read this. Which is ridiculous really, but this isn't my usual genre of book. I like my books to have romance/sex in them and there is a little but not enough to keep me interested in the book for just that.

The first half was a bit boring for me. It was going too slow, plodding along at it's own merry pace but then as soon as we get into the toad-demon and the shadowman and the storms, I was well dragged into the story.

I think I may just be interested enough to carry on with this series.

So. frikking. funny. I think I might have died a few times due to lack of oxygen. My cats may also require therapy from the cacophany spouting from my facial orifice. 4.5 stars

This collaboration of novellas is beautiful! Each one is filled with lovable characters and depth. The messages form God are woven intricately within and I was definitely captivated throughout. Four stars and recommendations for sure!

Just played a board game called Suspicion, it’s awesome! If you like Clue and/or Guess Who, you will love Suspicion. Play with 2-6 players. It’s all about hidden identities and deduction. 5 Stars.

I loved this book! In typical Carole Matthews fashion, it was filled with twists & turns...Oh no! and Ack! moments! Any Carole Matthews book is always a favorite...but this one for sure! 10 stars!

Yes, still as turgid and self satisfied as when I previously waded through this.

Must actually get rid of it this time and remind self not to re-read things you have rated two stars...
