The way the various stories cross over
The visual look of the film
Comic book comes to life
A very stylish film based on a graphic novel, the film has a largely monochrome look which works well with the comic element. The film consists of a few stories that cross paths in Sin city. All of them are very good as well as the main story piecing them together. Very original.
Amanda (30 KP) rated Son (The Giver, #4) in Books

I really enjoyed this book because it tied up the loose ends and wove the stories the stories together. This book really ties up the loose ends and helps put the pieces of the puzzle together. After reading this, everything that you've read finally makes sense.
As someone who had long wondered what happened to the Jonas and Gabe at the end of The Giver, I'm glad to finally have an answer.

I received a read and review copy from Netgalley for my full honest opinion.
Overall, this was a great read. Some parts were completely terrible while others were absolutely fantastic. I would only reread parts of this novel as certain stories are better than the others but all in all, it’s a 4 star read.

Bob Mortimer - say no more!!
This podcast frequently has me in tears of laughter, what people must think when I’m sitting in traffic!!
It started off as mostly football based banter but quickly developed into total silliness.
Bob’s made up stories involving ‘Gangs of the English Premier League” are hilarious.
It can get a bit close to the knuckle at times, not recommended for kids (apart from “big kids”).

David McK (3632 KP) rated Star Wars Omnibus: X-Wing Rogue Squadron, Vol. 2 in Books
Jan 30, 2019
The second collection of X-Wing, this consists of the following stories:
1) X-Wing Rogue Squadron Special (basically a bit about Wedge's background and his influence on Rogue Squadron)
2) Battleground: Tatooine
3) The Warrior Princess
4) Requiem for a Rogue
Personally, however, none of the stories really seemed to hold my attention all that much: as a matter of taste, I think I still prefer a printed novel over a comic novel
