Book Tour: The Sky Throne
Chris Ledbetter is a new author to me. His storytelling is nice and well written. I enjoyed his book “The Sky Throne” a fantasy and mythology book. It tells a story about a young Zeus and somewhat of how he comes to be a Geek God.
Will Zeus and his classmates find out what they are to do? The adventures they take are thrilling. Don is short for “Poseidon”. Is this book to tell the story of ancient Greek or is it more geared towards Modern? You will have to read the book to find out for yourself and decide. Though the story of young Zeus is about ancient Greek and becoming Greek God.
Hypson coming to Create after young Zeus pulls enough pranks to get himself and his best friend expelled from Crete Lower Prep. Will he learn his lesson or will he continue with the pranks? Once his best friend is killed and his mother injured he is sent to Mount Olympus Preparatory Academia. He sent to Mount Olympus Preparatory Academia he as one question “Who is his real Mother”?

One of those can't decide good or bad movies
Every now and then a movie comes along that you don't really know what to say or think about it... This is one of those films, a strong cast that wouldn't have been out of place in an early Guy Ritchie film, fills you with promise, but it feels very rushed in its storytelling, not really giving you time to work out who the characters are and what the significance of their meeting in a remote farmhouse is and to that point why and how the "Vampire hunting elite squad" knows where this meeting is yet not how many there are, other than they have one target they are after...
Don't get me wrong I did enjoy it, I'm just not quite sure why! if you like comedy horror Cockneys vs Zombies does it better, but the sight of Victor Meldrew's wife (Annette Crosbie) going from knitting in the kitchen to wielding an automatic weapon does leave you somewhat satisfied...
I think this is one that people would really need to make up their own mind on.

Got to admit, feels a bit odd to be giving a Palm d'Or winning film only a 9 out of 10, but you have to call them as you see them. A loving but totally amoral family make a living from various types of fraud and petty crime; when they find an abused child lives not far from them they end up benevolently and accidentally kidnapping her. Not one of those films which is really driven by plot (until close to the end, at least), but an examination of the idea of family and its importance at all levels of society.
A notably warm and non-judgemental film, no matter how bleak the subject matter may sound, driven along by understated storytelling and with excellent performances from the 'parents' of the shoplifter family. The compassion of the director towards all of the characters is palpable, even when they are at their worst (which can be pretty bad). If the film never completely resolves the moral ambiguities at its heart, then it is surely wholly intentional. Probably no-one's idea of mainstream entertainment, but a notably fine and moving film nevertheless.

Isaac Dunbar is a 16-year-old singer-songwriter and producer from Barnstable, Massachusetts. Not too long ago, he released a lovely pop tune, entitled, “woman on the hills”.
“She told me to take the whole world by the throat. Boy, you have something no one else has got. You’ve got that perfect smile. Yeah, it makes the boys and girls run for miles. Click, click, boom, be ready soon. You’ve got a photo shoot at two with the girl who made you who you are.” – lyrics
“woman on the hills” tells an interesting tale of a young guy who drives alone in his car to a new location in town. Eventually, he ends up in a park, where he encounters a woman who piqued his interest.
‘woman on the hills’ will be featured on Isaac’s Dunbar’s upcoming EP. The likable tune contains a dreamy storyline, pleasing vocals, and silky-smooth instrumentation flavored with a commercial pop aroma.
From conception to production, Isaac Dunbar’s artistry shines on ‘woman on the hills’, which wraps listeners in a blanket of emotion as Dunbar’s old soul shines through in his storytelling.

First, this film is better than Suicide Squad (I rated that film a 2); it wasn't a hard bar to pass though.
A more apt title for the film would be Harley Quinn and the Birds of Prey. I'm definitely a fan of Birds of Prey, and not really a Harley Quinn fan. I find Harley Quinn kind of annoying, and the storytelling structure was headache inducing at times.
The positives: The fight choreography, that was basically it's saving grace. Ewan McGregor didn't have a lot of story to work with, it was all on the surface. I did think it was hilarious when he joined the dance number for 'Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend', that just made me want to go and watch Moulin Rouge again. He also reused his general American accent from Men Who Stare at Goats, which marks the second movie I thought about watching while I was in this film.
The overall plot was basic and it was very predictable. What made this film even worse was that I did a double-feature and saw Ford v Ferrari afterwards, and there's simply no comparison.
