Awix (3310 KP) rated Space: 1999 in TV

Neither of them is honestly what you could call much good (the usual outstanding Anderson model effects excepted), but at least the first series tries hard and does have the odd pretty decent episode (Earthbound, guest starring Christopher Lee in a very strange wig, has a memorably creepy ending), even if it is mostly po-faced and turgid. The second series is brighter, more colourful, and seems to have eaten too much sugar; it's mostly just daft. All still highly enjoyable, though, even if not in quite the way the makers intended.

Awix (3310 KP) rated La derniere vague (The Last Wave) in TV

Comes across a bit like a mid-table Stephen King novel, or possibly just a very glossy soap opera with a guest appearance by Giant Space Monster Dogorah. Fairly engaging stuff, though unlikely to feel terribly original to the clued-up viewer; passes the time nicely without demanding your full attention. Avoids too many explanations (they're clearly hoping for a second season), which could be irritating, but the end-of-series cliffhanger is okay.
Matthew Krueger (10051 KP) rated Dr. Terror's House of Horrors (1965) in Movies

It was the first in a series of anthology films from Amicus and was followed by Torture Garden (1967), The House That Dripped Blood (1970), Asylum (1972), Tales from the Crypt (1972), The Vault of Horror (1973) and From Beyond the Grave (1974).
The movies was made with a budget of £105,000 and Donald Sutherland was paid £1,000 ($10,153.31 in 2018 dollars) for his performance.
The Plot: Five chilling stories are linked by the character of a strange fortune-telling doctor who predicts the bizarre deaths of five fellow passengers on a train using a pack of tarot cards.
Its a excellent anthology film.

This film was frustrating and confusing. So much screaming and really unlegit conversations. Then the end went crazy with multiple escapes from the jaws of a shark...
The oxygen levels only were relevant at certain plot points and so were a pointless tension tool they never used.
The random strong current and the way the sharks just popped up out of no where when there was no way they could have got into those areas was eye rolling.
There was also no other fish at all which is strange since where the hell are the sharks getting there food.
This was trying to be a weird slasher movie, replaced with a shark.. trying to be too serious and then throwing out the most ridiculous ending...
I was so surprised to find out this was a sequel XD

Riddick is currently being transported when the ship he is flying on gets hit by a meteor shower and makes a crash landing on a strange planet that has three sun's, only every 22 years there is an eclipse. It may seem the people on the ship that survive the crash have enough to deal with, with Riddick being a danger to everyone and them being stranded they don't see what lies behead. Soon they learn about the darkness to come and it's a fight to survive with everyone on edge they need Riddick to help them survive the horrors that live in the dark. Amazing film definitely worth the watch, the budget for the creatures isn't all that but was brilliant back when it first came out.
