Very satisfied with this read. I didn't think I would like it at first glance on account of the way the store had the book cataloged as 'superhero fiction' or something to that affect. After reading the book I can safely say the time it took me to read it was time well spent.

"Something that I watched recently that I absolutely loved was Black Panther. I love the idea there is a Black superhero. Love it. The people have their own world and have their own technologies. I really love that it empowers of men of color to identify with that and, I suppose, that Black excellence."

There are very few films as perfect as “The Incredibles”. Not only does it work flawlessly as one of the finest ever examples of a superhero movie, it also serves as an insightful deconstruction and analysis of the genre itself and still finds time to satirise the rise of entitled fan culture with a prescience that would be chilling if it weren’t so spectacularly on the money. Did I mention it’s terrific fun, too? Laugh out loud hilarious, clever, heartwarming and exquisitely structured, it’s one of my two all-time favourite screenplays.
