Fun horror/western supernatural tv show. It has a little of everything, from horror to romance to mystery to evil outlaws and goody two-shoes. And everything in-between. A good balance of sass and gore.

A clever supernatural horror

I enjoyed this horror as it has good special effects and a clever story. The possession of the husband and his subsequent deterioration are quite graphic at times and the overall feel of the film is just dark enough. The musical parts are a minor hiccup but they do piece the story together nicely. From India to London this is a horror film that is definitely worth a watch.

Gothic, supernatural series
only only four episodes in but keeping me hooked. It’s slightly gothic with the setting, a big house set on the cliff end with lots of rooms and history to it. If you are a fan of the supernatural, fantasy, slight horror ( not too much) then this probably up your street. The story line is slowly unfolding so you a,y to start at the beginning to understand the whole plot.

Supernatural horror
I started watching this movie on Netflix unsure of what to expect. It turned out to be surprisingly good. It's a monster story unlike any I've seen. Very creative and unique. The acting was good and the effects, while minimal, were excellent. The story played out very well and the cinematography was very well done. Kids probably won't like it much, but this one is really worth a watch.

This horror novel is perfect for fans of The Terror. The story sucks you in before you know it and soon you are as unsure and terrified as the protagonists. The blend of folklore and legend, of myth and supernatural, of real and make believe are what keeps you reading long after it’s given you the creeps.

Yesterday, I saw the movie based on the series of short story collections that inspired future makers of horror. It affected me so deeply that I decided to skip a Rifftrax screening. The actual film collects multiple horror tropes: haunted house, creepy hallways, reanimated corpses, spiders, supernatural serial killer, books. Most of the stories startle, but never terrify. The creature designs are phenomenal. The ending is kind of a letdown after all the thrills. However, one story completely disturbed me. Not the story or the creature, but the style. It used a lot of anticipation and narrative, but never showed much of the horror. It just built up tension and had one huge scare leading to a horrifying "ending" for one of the characters.

This supernatural horror is a dazzling contrast to anything Keanu had done before.
The story although very good is upstaged by great performances from all involved.
The special FX are great and compliment the action as the Angel's and demons battle it out.
LaBeouf for once doesn't annoy and Weis turning in double duty as both sisters is as good as ever. Little difficult to follow but worth it.

Nice supernatural horror

I watched this after seeing it on Netflix and i am glad i did. It is a good supernatural horror about a man who is wheelchair bound (eckhart) after a confrontation with a demon left his wife and son dead. He now specialises in enter possessed peoples minds in order to find the demon, expel it and free the possessed person. He has a hidden agenda as he wants to confront the demon that took his wife and child from him and left him disabled. Its got just the right amount of creepy moments and the demonic possession is done really well. It could have been made more gory and horrific but i think that the way its done makes it stand out more. All in all well worth a watch :)

Almost as weird as me!
There aren't many books that you can read from start to finish, every time you finish. This one is a rarity, with an story reminiscent of 80's horror, and with a nostalgic comedy feel, throughout. A book about supernatural sci-fi, with a very fresh style, John Dies At The End does a fantastic job at having you relate to its characters. There's a warmth to the descriptiveness of the book, that instantly nurtures your empathy for the colourful occupants of this mind-altering adventure.
The novel does twist and turn, with a number of surprises, and comes to a cataclysmic end, that leaves you wanting more, and ready for the sequel (also excellent), but entirely satisfied at the close of this story.
A must read for any horror or sci-fi fan.

Better than expected
Found this little gem on Netflix(original). The acting, cinematography and effects are decent. The story played out well. A little bit of a slow starter but kept the interest throughout. No big names that I knew, but the characters were well played. Takes place in the eighties in Scotland and it feels like you're watching a movie made in the eighties. If you're into creepy, supernatural horror flicks this one will please you. Not "The Conjuring" good but still worth a watch.
