Mama is a ghostly tale about two young sisters Victoria and Lilly who had
vanished after their parents were killed.Their Uncle Lucas (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau)
and his girlfriend Annabelle (Jessica Chastain) never stopped looking for them.
After nearly five years of searching, the girls are found and with some careful
observation and a couple of changes are forced to adapt to their new lives with
their uncle and his girlfriend. Little do Lucas and Annabelle know, there is a
strong supernatural force that will not let go of the young girls. Though Anabelle
hates that she has to become the mother figure for the girls she must do so for
their well being. She soon starts to experience strange happenings in the home and
senses an evil presence that is surrounding the girls and is making Annabelle’s life
a living Hell! Will she and Lucas find out how the girls survived all those years in
the cabin and what the truth is behind the evil force that the girls
call Mama?

Guillermo Del Toro has yet to bring a dull film to the screen with maybe the
exception of a couple of films here and there. His latest one Mama is by far one of
the best supernatural thrillers I have seen in an extremely long time! The story is
one that will be stuck in my nightmares for a while. It brings a new fear of what
might be hiding under our beds at night. As most of all Toro’s films, Mama was well
thought out and had a great flow without long drawn out scenes. Although the ending
was a little disappointing it was quite unexpected and still proves to be one of
Toro’s best so far.

I must admit I have always been a little afraid of the dark, only now it’s a
little worse after seeing Mama but hey, if your looking for a good scare and an edge
of your seat type of supernatural thriller like I usually am, Mama is the one to
see. Especially for those guys that want to take their girlfriends on a date to see
a movie that will make the girls hold on and not let go. I am usually disappointed
with most supernatural movies as they usually show the best scenes in the previews.
Mama leaves all the best scenes out of the previews forcing you to go and experience
them for yourself!

This movie is definitely not for the faint of heart!

Fellside was a unique combination of psychological, thriller, supernatural, crime, and romance. When I say psychological, it was because it makes you think; thriller because I couldn't put it down, and found my heart racing; romance not in the typical sense of the term, but a deep and surprising love that brought all the characters to a new level, and puts the reader in a different frame of mind. It was the kind of book you know is completely unrealistic, but since the author believes in it, you believe in it. It begins with a mysterious tug, and right as you fall in love with the main character she starts to break your heart. M. R. Carey doesn’t write cute books, or sweet books, or books that are easy to read. They make you think and confront how you feel about certain things; but it’s beautiful in it’s own way. I am totally in love with this story, this world, the concept, and the way it all comes together in the end. I definitely recommend it for ages 16+, but not as a light beach-read or hour-at-a-time read. Sit down and chew on this one, and let your mind go where it wants to. A creepy thriller, well worth the watch!
23 years ago Carys Howell goes missing from a small Welsh village. The case is never solved. After the sudden and horrific death of her mother, Matilda Gray, celebrity cello player, finds herself drawn to the village and the case. Followed by close friend Hal, who has clear but unreciprocated feelings towards Matilda, she slowly begins to unravel the events around the case. What Matilda finds leads her into the world of the dark supernatural.

I found the story engaging and compelling and I really cared about the main characters- particularly Matilda and Hal. The supernatural scenes were creepy and a little jumpy at times.

There were a few issues that I had with the series, firstly some of the twists were a little predictable , but this is offset by the twists that were unexpected. My primary gripe with the series is that the ending left me wanting- it was missing that fulfilling ending that I was craving. I would have preferred an additional episode that covered the ‘black outs’, instead it was almost as if the writers had put so much into the rest of the series, that they got to the last thirty minutes and rushed it, missing out the meat.


The series does set itself up nicely for a season 2, but neither the BBC or Netflix have confirmed a renewal (both have a stake in the series). Despite the weak ending, I do hope that there is a sequel, as I believe it will be much darker and creepier.

The PG-13 verison of a M game
Ive only played the 3rd one, when it came out so like 2011 or 2012. I never finished the game idk why, i just didnt. I havent played the first one or the second one either. Alot of people hated this film, i can see why. First of all what genre is this film surpost be? A action film, a horror film, a drama film, a revenge film, a gritty film, a thriller? I dont know its a mix a genres. Second the slow mo is good/bad, cause it was in the games it has to be in film right. Third the action is bad, someone was just shaking the camera the whole time.

The plot: After the murders of his family and his partner, maverick cop Max (Mark Wahlberg) becomes hell-bent on revenge. Teamed with beautiful and deadly Russian mobster Mona Sax (Mila Kunis), Max journeys into a dark underworld to find the truth, but forces -- both worldly and supernatural -- align against him, determined to silence Max forever.

Oh lastly PG-13 why?
