"I love The Departed. I was only talking about it the other day, in fact. I think it’s Scorsese at his best, in my opinion. I definitely love gangster films generally, like from Casino to the Godfathers. But I think The Departed, being in the modern day and being relatable — I think the cast is just amazing — but there’s something about being in the now that kind of made it a lot more… obviously relevant, but I suppose I connected with it in a much grander scale than I did with the likes of GoodFellas. I love all those films, but I think The Departed sort of resonated more than any of them."

This is a beautiful and thoughtful game that is described as a cozy time management game about death. You play as Stella the new spiritfarer who is taking over for Charon. Stella has to fulfill the final wishes of the spirits she meets before they make their final journey to the Everdoor, the gateway to the afterlife. There is exploration in the game as well as crafting and farming. The way the game truly shines is how thoughtful and gentle it is talking about death while telling a lovely story with some wonderful characters. The game is available to play on all platforms. This is something like my 4th/5th read by Abbi Glines, and I have to say that I didn't think it was as good as the Too Far trilogy--though technically I haven't got around to reading the last book yet.

I liked how it started and it pulled me in quickly but I think the romance appeared a little out of nowhere. Okay, they'd been talking and having sweet moments but suddenly they can't stay away from each other anymore? I didn't buy it.

Nevertheless I liked the storyline.

I have the next two or three books in the Sea Breeze series but I think I'm going to try something else first.
