Thoughtful, intelligent movie for older teens and adults. (2 more)
Tom Hank's, as usual, is superb.
Well crafted and moving story.
Whilst it's a good movie in it's own right, it will always play second fiddle to the more acclaimed Shawshank Redemption, by the same director. (0 more)
based on King's 1996 serialized novel set in a prison. In 1935, inmates at the Cold Mountain Correctional Facility call Death Row "The Green Mile" because of the dark green linoleum that tiles the floor.

The Program is a way to prevent teenage suicide which has become an epidemic. That is they way THEY sell it but is it really? Sloane and James do not believe it. Neither so the other teens. They have seen Returners and they are not the same, they are missing their memories.

Suzanne Young has created a compelling look into the future. The story keeps you wanting more. Luckily the sequel The Treatment is already out.

A Wonderful Reimagining
questions readers may have had from the original work. Elizabeth is a dark, yet delightful character who literally "takes care of Victor" to the very end.

We get to meet the monster on a more personal level and information is tied up quite neatly through the existence of two journals. But, no more information shall I reveal lol. Jump in and read for yourself this story of teens true meaning of freedom

Hey Influencers!

From yesterday's discussions, we've decided one of the ways to help get people talking is to create specified lists of all sorts of items for different groups of people who may be in isolation. These can be from any/every category on Smashbomb - so we want to hear your ideas for what items should be put in these lists!

1. Individuals

Not sure I could add much new to what has been said but for individuals and couples, seasonal tv shows (I.e. the traditional 22 episode season) as well as mini series events. People could come up with quiz questions for each episode of a show that you could search for.

"I came from a small town, with parents whose only wish for my future was a factory job, so this film, and the novel it was based on, felt close to home. My only desire was to somehow escape my surroundings, so when I first watched this movie in my early teens, I found the ending truly agonizing. Beautifully shot in black and white by Denys Coop, who also shot This Sporting Life for Lindsay Anderson that same year."
