Silvestrini, in only his second feature, does an excellent job of sustaining the tension in a situation where it would be easy for the audience, as well as the protagonist, to despair.

A good documentary on an underrated, and scarcely known subject. The soundtrack complements the themes and era perfectly, whilst adding tension and emotion to those who are somewhat uneducated on the matter. However, some may feel the political bias between Israel and Palestine somewhat hard to swallow if oppositional.

this book was great. until the last quarter when the author realized she'd spent so much time on sexual tension that she'd neglected the actual resolution of the storyline and it became sloppy and COMPLETELY ridiculous and and and...
i'd still recommend it. hopefully the next novel in the series will be better.

A decent enough tale of survival based on true events as 3 people are stranded when attacked by a crocodile. It's ok but a lil too long and the interest starts to go after a while. Only so much tension you can build about people stuck in a tree avoiding a crocodile!

I really disliked this film, which is an unpopular opinion. To me, it was boring and built little to no tension. I was checking my watch constantly while watching this. I never intend upon watching this movie again, and I was super happy when when I sold the DVD at half-price books.

This was the perfect mix of genres. The dystopian world that Burke creates was fantastic in a steampunk way. The fact that the characters are pirates adds yet another element. Both main characters, Rose and Miranda, are complex and the romantic tension between them is another element to this already complex plot.

3.5 stars.

This was a rather cute story. I loved the connection between our guys and how the tension ratcheted up in those first few chapters and then... just the relationship. It was cute, it was hot; I couldn't stop smiling.

A nice story. I wouldn't mind reading more books by this author

Thankfully, there are more high points in Gotham than low points. The growing tension between two crime families takes on a life of it’s own throughout season one with Oswald Cobblepot firmly in the middle.

A well made film with a great line up of great actors! A little light on action was the only slight let down for me. The build up of tension as the details of the plan of action are thought out, then the series of events after the attack make it an interesting film.
