A rare insight
I have always liked Mike Harding and this book gives a real insight not just into his childhood but also life in Manchester in the years that followed the second world war. Reading this made me laugh at the real life incidents but also made me ashamed and embarassed about what was happening under the publics nose. I look forward to the next book as this only covers up until he left school and started working for the road department. A good read and well worth the time :)

Good show, starting to wane now
A good story based on the book by Piper Kerman.
The first 3 seasons of this were excellent, really gritty and true to life, after this the quality waned off and became a little ridiculous, season 5 was completely ridiculous and I dread season 6.
Im actually glad its the last one.
As I said the show has given me joy to watch for the first few seasons hence the 7 rating.

A good little pocket book with some interesting information and guidance on how to try and beat negative thoughts that seem to take over your life. For more in-depth help websites and other books are listed as a tiny book like this just about scrapes the surface on changing your perspective on life.

4.5 stars.

I loved Grayson and Libby, and the plot was pretty good. The rest of the cast were pretty cool too. (I look forward to reading Libby and Owen's story). I loved the slow romance and Grayson's outlook on life.

I'd love to read more books by this author.

This is the first book in the 'legendary chronicles' and it's very good. Set in a distopian future who have developed a unique way of life. The storyline is gripping, and interesting.
What I didn't like was the way the books narrative jumps between past present and future with no obvious reasoning.
