Clara (Stories of Lorst #1) by Suzanna J. Linton
Clara is a young girl of ten when we first meet her, enjoying her last day of freedom although she doesn't realise that. Her life is about to change for the worst, but there is also a spark of hope in the form of Emmerich, a gypsy boy she meets. Clara loses many things, including her voice, during her trials and tribulations but it looks like her life is changing for the better when she meets Emmerich again. Is everything as it seems, or has Emmerich changed in ways too many to be ignored?

This is a well-written historical fantasy with a hint of romance. With good guys doing bad things, bad guys turning over new leaves (possibly), plus evil dudes without any form of redemption, this story captured my imagination as I read through.

Well-written and smoothly paced, this was a good, solid book. Definitely recommended.

Original Vampire Film
A very cool, unique and classy vampire film. It's 9 years from now and nearly everyone is a vampire. However with not so many humans around producing blood the vampires are starving and becoming more like mindless bat-like creatures. Is there a way to save both vampires and humans?
I really like the ideas behind the vampire world and how life and technology has adapted to their needs. A good cast, slick visual effects, some bloody scenes and a pretty good story that is more original than most, move this towards the top of the food-chain for Vampire films!

Syvester McCoy (1 more)
Richard Briers
Watched last night not perfect story owes a lot to the novel high - rise by J G Ballard and it shows with its characters and setting syvester McCoy in only his second story still fining his way but his performance here is better than the previous story and then there's Richard Briers the main guest star who at the time was known the good life really gets to play against type as the villain of the story could have done without the haming it up at the end also could have done without Bonnie Langfords screaming sometimes it can get annoying. The story looks so good in HD as well maybe I will actually watch the movie high rise sometime
